Seems like the less edgy version of "I can do it, why can't you."
Which is a fair response, but a bit of a dick move nonetheless.

Not only is this very true, but also very well said.
There are victims, there are people who pressure everyone else to the point that they fial or give up, and there are people who blame others for everything that goes wrong in their lives.
We all have different levels of abilities, and we should all have some sympathy about it. I'm not one of those "grow some balls and deal with it" kind of people, but I do think most of the people I associate with these days are over indexed on the "you have to understand I have difficulty with X".
At some point, a lack of ability can be considered neglect.
Not everyone is good at everything, especially when you consider physical, mental, and emotional disabilities. But you cna usually still make yourself useful, either in the moment or in the future.
Don't be the kid who does nothing in the group project.
My rule for reading advertisements, but applies widely, is "if you have to say it, it isn't true."
I refused to wear steel bracelets for quite a while, but I'm opening up to them now. I kinda assumed most pulled my arm hair but it turns out it's just cheap ones.
Back when I had a duro as a daily wear watch, I had a loose woven black perlon strap that was 90% of what I wore. I loved that thing. I'm a perlon fan, and I know that they have a specific look that's more suited to dress watches than dive watches. Worse, my perlon had "gaps" (for the lack of a better word, it was woven into a net-like holes that gave it a very Panama look. Still, it's the lightest, thinnest, airiest, most comfortable strap I've owned. The stiffness of perlon can be a turn-off but I find that it keeps the strap from sticking when sweaty, which is my big pet peeve. Anyway, I never found another net perlon like it except some NOS Eulit straps that are typically 16 or 18mm.
Anyway, I love nato and I still tend away from steel more than not. That said, I'm on a bit of a thin watch kick, and Nato can definitely make the watch sit higher. On the plus side, if you don't like the way that case backs tend to stick to your wrist when you get a little sweaty, Nato or Perlon can help with that. Still really good to try them out if you haven't.
Ooooff.
Like halibut? Fucks sake.
Definitley, infamous (for more than one reason) Churr(i)vllll, NC. More accent than weird pronunciation. Cuh-NEE-tuh is a real WTF to me.
I'm gonna ask for help because I'd be wrong about it if I didn't.
