Your AR (Augmented Reality) pilot program can truly shine if stakeholders remain engaged and excited throughout the process. Here's how you can keep their interest alive:
Which strategy do you think is most effective in keeping stakeholders engaged?

Engaging stakeholders in an AR pilot program is about making them co-creators in the journey. While updates and feedback are vital, interactive demos are the most effective. Why? AR is an experiential technology. When stakeholders experience its potential firsthand, they shift from observers to believers. A hands-on demo doesn’t just showcase progress, it builds excitement, fosters connection, and sparks innovative ideas. For example, letting stakeholders test AR in real-world scenarios empowers them to envision its transformative impact, creating alignment with your vision. The key? Show, don’t just tell. Let them interact, experience, and feel the value to keep them truly engaged.
-
The most important step in an AR pilot program is to define the goals and set clear expectations by outlining what the program aims to achieve. Creating an AR demo that is immersive, interactive and intuitive throughout (eg: addition of leaderboards, gamification and challenges etc) and host an hands on session for the stake holders. Regularly update the application by adding interesting and exciting features. Discussions about the ongoing advancements of AR technology and relating it our features in the program and addressing customer pain points at the same time. By combining stakeholders involvement and an emphasis on the results, we can maintain the excitement and ensure AR pilot program success!
-
Foster engagement by setting clear goals, sharing regular updates with visuals, and showcasing AR's impact through live demos. Encourage feedback, highlight early successes, and align outcomes with stakeholder interests. Use storytelling to emphasize AR's transformative potential.
-
1. Clear Vision: Share a compelling vision and tangible goals for the program. 2. Regular Updates: Provide progress reports with visuals, prototypes, and demos. 3. Interactive Demos: Let stakeholders experience AR features firsthand. 4. Quick Wins: Showcase small, impactful successes early on. 5. Feedback Loop: Involve stakeholders in feedback and iteration to foster ownership. 6. Showcase Impact: Highlight potential ROI and success stories. 7. Gamify Engagement: Use AR gamification elements to make updates fun and memorable. 8. Celebrate Milestones: Recognize achievements with events or rewards.
-
Be clear on the possible outcome of the pilot. Get it to the actual users as early as possible. Get feedback from them and directly put it into the pilot. Work agile=iterativ. Show the ROI early and you will win your stakeholders
