sus excedentes a la capital del virreinato, y por la desorganización que en esos años experimentara la administración fiscal del virreinato. El presente artículo proporciona una explicación neoinstitucional a la caída de los ingresos reales. Su principal conclusión es que, debido a un cambio en precios relativos, provocado por la guerra, se hizo atractivo para los habitantes de las provincias dejar de remitir a la ciudad de México sus excedentes fiscales. En el territorio de Nueva España, a partir de 1810 los ingresos de la Real Caja de la ciudad de México mostraron una reducción en la tendencia que venían registrando desde finales del siglo anterior. Aunque este fenómeno se aclara por factores tales como la guerra civil iniciada en ese año, los cambios políticos experimentados por la metrópoli desde 1808 y el hecho de que la calidad de las cifras fiscales se reducía desde los primeros años del siglo, el comportamiento de los ingresos de la tesorería matriz mexicana se explica por factores políticos y económicos internos que hallan en el llamado "institucionalismo" un marco teórico útil para la comprensión de este periodo. Los factores políticos y económicos a los que me refiero son, principalmente, dos: la fragmentación regional del sistema fiscal novohispano y la disolución administrativa del organismo encargado de las finanzas virreinales. El objetivo de este trabajo es aplicar el marco teórico institucional a estos dos factores que en parte revelan el colapso fiscal de la tesorería de la ciudad de México. El análisis que sigue no constituye, creo, una perspectiva distinta de una realidad conocida. Más bien es el intento de interpretar -mediante el mencionado marco teórico-una realidad sospechada principalmente a causa de la falta de información cuantitativa. La teoría aplicada se fundamenta en la idea, desarrollada por Douglass North, de que un Estado es depredador; es decir, trata de maximizar sus ingresos y los del grupo en el poder aun a costa de otros grupos de la sociedad. En este sentido, la Guerra de Independencia trajo consigo cambios en los precios relativos que modificaron una multiplicidad de costos, poderes de negociación, tasas de retorno, etcétera. En parte con motivo de estas modificaciones vemos cómo los grupos que apoyaba ese Estado depredador, generalmente en la ciudad de México, perdieron poder relativo ante otros anteriormente "desdeñados", acentuando aún más el regionalismo que caracterizó a México durante buena parte del siglo xix. Este cambio en los equilibrios del poder entre la capital virreinal y las distintas regiones de la Nueva España trajo consigo la disminución (o suspensión) de las remisiones de excedentes fiscales al centro, lo que acentuó aún más el poder relativo de las oligarquías regionales. Desde la perspectiva burocrática, en el periodo se observa la implantación de una administración colegiada que operaba en función de los grupos de interés regionales. En cuanto a la estructura administrativa ya existente, en aquellos años se dio un rompimiento de rutinas debido a los cambios legislativos sobre la gestión administrativo-fiscal en las regiones -entre los que destacan los cuerpos de decisión colegiada y la implantación del liberalismo-, así como por la presencia del elemento militar en las zonas más ricas de Nueva España. A estos elementos cabría agregar la situación de las comunicaciones que modificó, en favor de cada región, las decisiones de los funcionarios fiscales. This study explores the historical maritime significance of Naval, Biliran, during the Spanish colonial period. While often overshadowed by major ports like Cebu and Manila, Naval's strategic location and natural harbors suggest its potential role in regional maritime activities. By examining archival records, historical maps, and secondary sources, this research aims to reconstruct Naval's involvement in shipbuilding and trade during the 17th and 18th centuries. The findings contribute to a more nuanced understanding of the Philippines' colonial maritime network and highlight the importance of smaller ports in regional commerce.

Το 2021 εκδόθηκε και κυκλοφόρησε στην πόλη του Κιλκίς το «Κιλκισιακό Οδολόγιο» του τέως Δημάρχου της, κου Τάσου Αμανατίδη.
Ξεκινώντας από την ημερομηνία της ενσωμάτωσής της πόλης στο ελληνικό κράτος που ονοματοδότησε την κεντρική αρτηρία της, το βιβλίο αποτυπώνει τα τοπωνύμια των χαμένων πατρίδων των προσφύγων που την κατοίκησαν, σημαντικές προσφυγικές προσωπικότητες που αγωνίστηκαν για την βελτίωση των συνθηκών της ζωής, τους εθνοτοπικούς ανταγωνισμούς, αλλά και την ώσμωση που προήλθε από την σύνθεση τόσο πολλών και διαφορετικών ομάδων που διαμόρφωσαν τη φυσιογνωμία της. Οι βιογραφίες των προσωπικοτήτων που καταγράφονται αποτελούν τα τεκμήρια που θεμελιώνουν τον τρόπο που η πόλη επιλέγει να παρακολουθεί την εξέλιξή της, καθιστώντας το «Οδολόγιο», μια σύνοψη της οικονομικής, πολιτικής και πολιτισμικής ιστορίας της.
Η παρούσα διδακτική προσέγγιση, χρησιμοποιώντας σύγχρονες διδακτικές μεθόδους, web 2.0 εργαλεία και εφαρμογές τεχνητής νοημοσύνης, αποκωδικοποιεί, ανασχηματίζει και προσεγγίζει κριτικά, τα σύντομα, αλλά και πλούσια σε πληροφορίες κείμενα του Οδολογίου, δίνοντας τη δυνατότητα στους/στις μαθητές/τριες να ξεπεράσουν την παραδοσιακή ιστορική προσέγγιση που εστιάζει στην κεντρική ιστορική αφήγηση του έθνους και του κράτους. Ταυτόχρονα, τους/τις δίνει τη δυνατότητα να προχωρήσουν, αναδεικνύοντας και συνθέτοντας τις «φωνές των ανθρώπων» που έζησαν και έδρασαν στην πόλη του Κιλκίς, αλλά και να μελετήσουν τον τρόπο που ο απόηχος των μεγάλων ιστορικών γεγονότων καθόρισε την οργάνωση και τη λειτουργία της.

Dal luglio all'8 settembre 1943, vennero preparate evasioni e assicurata protezione a soldati italiani da parte di gruppi partigiani francesi di Joseph le Fou (Joseph Manzone) e dalle popolazioni di Nizza, Cannes e Monaco. Marinai francesi favorirono imbarchi clandestini verso la costa ligure. Dopo l'8 settembre alcune guide alpine francesi presero in consegna gruppi di militari sbandati della disciolta IV Armata italiana, dando loro cibo e vestiario e conducendoli poi nel rifugio Nizza al colle di Tenda. Lì venivano presi in consegna dai resistenti italiani che lavoravano in piena sintonia con i francesi, cercando di convincerli ad aggregarsi a formazioni partigiane alpine o costiere, in previsione di uno sbarco delle truppe alleate. Un episodio che favorì le relazioni italo-francesi accadde l'8 settembre 1943 nella stazione di Nizza, importante nodo ferroviario per il transito dei convogli che riportavano in Italia i reparti della IV armata, configurando, altresì, in ordine cronologico -la sera stessa dell'annuncio dell'armistizio -il primo atto ufficiale di lotta armata della Resistenza Italiana, compiuto dal sottotenente siciliano Salvatore Bono, che rimase gravemente ferito, ma che in seguito potè di persona essere insignito della medaglia d'oro al valor militare. Alipio Amalberti, nato a Soldano l'11 febbraio 1901, zio materno di Pietro Gerolamo Marcenaro e di Sergio Marcenaro, giovanissima staffetta partigiana, già nelle giornate che seguirono l'8 settembre metteva in piedi un'organizzazione per finanziare ed armare i gruppi che si stavano formando in montagna a Baiardo (IM) insieme a Renato Brunati di Bordighera, fucilato dalle SS il 19 maggio 1944 sul Turchino e Lina Meiffret, proprietaria di una villa poco fuori Baiardo, punto di riferimento e talora rifugio di quella piccola banda, che, catturata insieme al fidanzato Brunati, venne deportata in un campo di concentramento in Germania, da cui tornò fortemente provata, ma salva. Arrestato il 24 maggio 1944 a Vallecrosia e tenuto come ostaggio, in quanto segnalato più volte come sovversivo, Alipio Amalberti venne fucilato a Badalucco il 5 giugno 1944 come ritorsione ad un'azione del distaccamento di "Artù", Arturo Secondo, compiuta il 31 maggio. This assignment is about my educational visit to the **Dhaka Judge and Sessions Court** and the **Dhaka Bar Council** as a law student. In India, the relationship between Hindu communities and various ancient stories and historical events is profound. The Rajbanshi community is recognised as one of the most prominent ethnic groups in North Bengal. Not only in North Bengal, but the Rajbanshi people also reside in Bangladesh, Assam, Nepal and Bihar. Various opinions have been published regarding the origin of the Rajbanshi community. Although there are different sub-castes of the Rajbanshi community, everyone likes to introduce the 'Rajbanshi.' The culture of the Rajbanshi community is reflected through their language, foods, and festivals, showcasing their unique characteristics. This cultural diversity of the Rajbanshi community has led to unique traditions and customs that set them apart from other communities. It is noteworthy that the acceptance of Islam increased among the Rajbanshi community in undivided India. Various aspects of the Rajbanshi community's traditional culture are now observed across different communities. Many within the Rajbanshi community identify themselves as Koch, Rajbanshi, Paliya, and Deshi.

Script is a powerful way to store and convey the information of a language. In various parts of the country, Kaithi Script was a traditional medium of writing. The use of Kaithi Script has a very old history. The NorthEastern part of the undivided Purnea district in Bihar was included in the Surjapur Pargana (Purnea, Kathihar, Kishanganj, Araria, and Islampur Subdivision of Uttar Dinajpur district). There are various opinions regarding the origin of the word Surjapur, which has sparked discussions among researchers. The Surjapuri language originated from this Surjapur Pargana, which is a testament to a distinctive culture. This Surjapuri language is a form of Kamtapuri or Rajbanshi language, which is generally used according to the region. The Surjapuri language was written in the Kaithi Script. Currently, the usage of this Surjapuri language can be seen in some parts of Bihar, Bangladesh, and Nepal. This language contains a combination of Hindi, Maithili, and Bengali language.

The development of the railway in the 19th and 20th centuries became one of the settlement factors leading to the founding of Jaworzyna Śląska, Krzyż Wielkopolski and Zbąszynek in what is today western Poland. On the one hand, the railway generated new jobs, while on the other hand, social housing, which over time led to the establishment of villages and towns. This was the case for the three aforementioned settlements, of which the two older ones, Jaworzyna Śląska and Krzyż Wielkopolski, initially struggled with numerous problems, including those involving education and religion. Zbąszynek, on the other hand, was established in the interwar period as a modern railway settlement on the Polish border and from the very beginning it offered its residents high living standards, including schools, churches and utilities: water supply, sewage system and electricity.

V roce 1748 byly vybrány jako sídlo stálé vojenské posádky a zůstaly posádkovým městem až do jejího zrušení v roce 1888. Rovných 140 let historie spjaté s přítomností habsburských vojáků ve zdejších vojenských bytech a kasárnách již z obecného povědomí současných Přeštičanů vymizelo. Naše publikace je první, která se dějinami posádky habsburské kavalerie a přeštických kasáren podrobněji zabývá v kontextu vývoje habsburské armády a vojenských dějin regionu.

The present essay has the purpose of discussing the many memories in dispute in the West of Paraná, having as base the Municipal District of Santa Helena and other stories that emerge from this tension. Produced in different moments, those versions refer to social processes developed between 1950 and 2005 and relate the place to the regional. I approach, at first, the constitution process of a memory in the public sphere of Santa Helena, working with sources as History books, monuments, press material and also material for divulgation of the local public power. Usually constituted by the "elites" of the place, that version expresses projects elaborated for the municipal district. I accomplish a relational study, starting from the look given by workers that live in the municipal district, about their life trajectories. I take their narratives as live testimonies of the memory and place privileged to capture, in the place, the many versions in dispute. These subjects, then, ...

Předkládají význam a jedinečnost území jako celku na základě konkrétních předmětů ochrany, vzácných druhů, krajinných fenoménů, historických souvislostí, ekosystémových služeb a specifických vlastností krajiny klíčových pro život. Kapitoly zpracovali členové a členky spolku a externisté specializovaní na dané téma. Een Alkmaarse arts heeft een vuistdikke studie gepubliceerd met een groot aantal praktijkvoorbeelden. Honderden patiënten uit Delft en Alkmaar staan hierin met naam en toenaam genoemd. Tijdens verschijning van het boek waren meerdere gedupeerden nog in leven. Niemand heeft aangifte gedaan.

Het zoveelste datalek? Alweer gegevens gehackt door criminelen? Nee hoor, dit gebeurde allemaal lang geleden in 1585. Betrokken arts was de beroemde geleerde Pieter van Foreest. Misschien noemde hij de namen van zijn patiënten om aan te tonen dat zijn praktijkvoorbeelden niet uit de duim waren gezogen. Waarschijnlijk vonden de mensen het destijds ook best hun privacy in te leveren ten bate van de wetenschap. Er volgden tenminste geen rechtszaken. Wat zijn boek vandaag voor mij zo bijzonder maakt is dat ik onverwachts op vierhonderdvijftig jaar oude medische gegevens van mijn voorouders stuit. Welke verhalen dat oplevert, lees je hier.

Este artículo propone un entendimiento de la ciudad desde sus usos, desde las comunidades, desde el sentimiento y desde la apropiación, donde ocurre una constante puesta en escena que reinterpreta el espacio urbano desde diversas locaciones. Die Professionalisierung der ungarischen Geschichtsschreibung vollzog sich im Wesentlichen zur Zeit des österreichisch-ungarischen Dualismus. Daher sprechen wir im Folgenden von der dualistischen Geschichtsschreibung in Ungarn. 1 Ein großer Teil der Historiker -oder derjenigen, die in diesem Zusammenhang erwähnt werden können -war vor 1848 aktiv politisch tätig. Von den Ausnahmen seien Mihály Horváth 2 und László Szalay 3 erwähnt, die keine ausgebildeten Historiker waren. Die ungarische Geschichtsschreibung ähnelte in dieser Hinsicht der eher literarisch orientierten französischen und englischen Geschichtsschreibung in der ersten Hälfte des 19. Jahrhunderts, wie sie etwa bei Michelet, Mignet, Thierry oder Carlyle ausgeprägt war. In ihr spielten auch die Geschehnisse der Revolution von 1848/1849 eine wichtige Rolle; die Historiker bekannten sich zu einem Ideal der Freiheit, einer Art politischem Liberalismus. 4 Mihály Horváth war ursprünglich katholischer Pfarrer, Bischof von Csanád sowie Religions-und Kultusminister der Szemere-Regierung von 1849. Nach dem Fall der Revolution musste er ins Exil gehen, wo er eine nachmals berühmte Zusammenfassung der ungarischen Geschichte schrieb. 5 Seine historiographische Tätigkeit kann in zwei Perioden aufgeteilt werden. But now that his thesis is in the public domain along with David Reeve's remarkable recent biography - "To Remain Myself : The History of Onghokham" (Singapore: NUS Press 2022), there is now the chance to make a reassessment of this remarkable postwar historian and Indonesian public intellectual.

Le strade non hanno mai unito solo due città ma tanti paesi con le loro genti, che hanno contribuito a creare e a far vivere e prosperare: così è per la Via Postumia! Un'importante via consolare romana, la più antica, che Arquata Scrivia, Isola del Cantone e Serravalle Scrivia ben conoscono. Parlare quindi di terre dell'OltregiogofraGenovaeTortonasignificaparlaredistrade, percorsi, vie di valico, insediamenti grandi e piccoli di cui è punteggiato il territorio dalle più remote vallecole alle praterie dei monti più alti. Arquata e le vie dell'Oltregiogo, scrisse a metà secolo scorso uno studioso insigne e indimenticato, Teofilo Ossian De Negri, il quale, già a partire dal titolo, intuì la centralità di quel corridoio infrastrutturale che, originandosi dalla Valpolcevera, ne oltrepassa le giogaie per aprirsi al grande mondo della Pianura proprio A PARTIRE DA ARQUATA. Era esso il corridoio da cui passava la Via Postumia, che dal foro di Genova, in Piazza San Giorgio, ove nel primo medioevo, non a caso, risuoneranno le voci dei mercanti di tutto il Mediterraneo, muoveva verso la Polcevera e penetrava in Oltregiogo dalla Bocchetta. Una bimillenaria storia di merci, muli, ma anche esseri umani in carne e ossa con idee e sogni, che occorre riconoscere, scoprire, raccontare, per riconoscerci, scoprirci, raccontarci in ciò che fummo, in ciò che siamo e in ciò che saremo.

Laikotarpyje iš XI a. į XII-XIII a. įvyko nemažai esminių pokyčių įvairiose žiemgalių, taip pat ir kitų baltų, gyvenimo srityse -ekonominėje, etninėje, socialinėje, politinėje bei dvasinėje. Inovacijos ūkinėje srityje, kurios X-XI a. pirmiausia pasiekė svarbiausius Žiemgalos ekonominius centrus, XII-XIII a. palaipsniui plito po visą nagrinėjamąjį regioną ir turėjo įtakos tolesnei viso krašto raidai. XI a. viduryje -XII a. viduryje susilpnėjo ekonominiai ryšiai su skandinavais (Žulkus, 1997, p. 24), o vėliau -XII-XIII a. -žemutiniame Padauguvyje suaktyvėjo rusų bei vokiečių veikla. Pagrindiniai jų interesai šiame regione, pradžioje buvę ekonominiai, perauga į karinius-politinius. Tokiu būdu Padauguvyje įsikūrė ir įsitvirtino vokiečių Kalavijuočių ordinas (1202 m.). Etninėje sferoje unifikuojasi baltų kultūra, dvasinėje srityje -suaktyvėja ryšiai su krikščionybe. Anot kai kurių tyrinėtojų, XII-XIII a. pakito klimatas -tapo drėgnesnis, žymiai nukrito temperatūra (Колебания, 1988, p. 370; Bukantis, 1996, p. 14). Kitų nuomone, klimatas pablogėjo apie 1300 m. (Zunde, 1999, p. 150, pav. 15). Visi šie pokyčiai atsispindi to meto rašytiniuose šaltiniuose bei tyrinėtuose archeologiniuose paminkluose. Darbo chronologijos pradžia -XII a. pabaiga -sutampa su nauju Žiemgalos istorijos etapu -Vėlyvojo geležies amžiaus pabaiga ir Kryžiaus karų (kartu ir Viduramžių) pradžia. Tuo metu (XII a. pabaigoje -XIII a. pradžioje) žemutiniame Padauguvyje (kartu ir visame Rytų Pabaltijyje) pakito geopolitinė situacija. Į Iškilę 1184 m. atsikėlė kryžiuočiai, o 1202 m. įkurtas Kalavijuočių ordinas (nuo 1237 m. -Livonijos). Intensyvūs valstybingumo procesai vyko Lietuvoje: XII a. pabaigoje susidarė Lietuvos žemių konfederacija, o XIII a. 4 dešimtmečio viduryje -Lietuvos valstybė. Visa tai daugiau ar mažiau turėjo įtakos greta buvusioms žiemgalių žemėms. Kita vertus, Žiemgala suvaidino ne mažiau svarbų vaidmenį Kryžiaus žygiuose. Būdama šalia gerokai stipresnio priešininko -Ordino -sugebėjo prieš jį atsilaikyti iki pat 1290 m., kartu apsaugodama susikūrusią Lietuvos valstybę iš šiaurės. Tai liudija, kad vyko Žiemgalos žemių konfederacijos formavimosi procesai, kurie, palyginti su Lietuva, gerokai vėlavo, tačiau kitų baltų genčių atžvilgiu -buvo vieni pirmųjų. Nagrinėjant šiuos procesus svarbu atsakyti į kai kuriuos mažai gvildentus probleminius Žiemgalos istorinio regiono XII-XIII a. bei vėlesnio laikotarpio istorijos klausimus. Darbo chronologijos pabaiga -XVI a. pirmoji pusė -susijusi su nauju tyrinėjamojo regiono istorijos laikotarpiu -Viduramžių pabaiga -Naujųjų amžių pradžia. Nustatyti konkretesnę datą šiame regione nėra paprasta, nes kraštas priklausė dviems politine, XII-XVI a. šaltiniai apie Žiemgalą Rašytiniai šaltiniai apie XII-XIII a. Žiemgalą, joje vykusius politinius-karinius įvykius bei gyvenamas vietoves nėra gausūs. Tai 1109 m. nesėkmingo rusų karo žygio į Žiemgalą paminėjimas (Senās, 1937, p. 13), 1254 m. En el análisis histórico siempre se trabaja con escalas, aunque no se reflexione o no se haga explícito. La escala elegida depende de nuestras preguntas, del problema a interpretar, del período y de las fuentes. Ciertamente, ninguna unidad de análisis es superior a otra: algunas alientan generalizaciones capaces de devolver grandes panoramas, a costa de perder detalles, mientras que otras permiten análisis más específicos y comprender la complejidad a partir de situaciones circunscritas, abordadas intensivamente. Lo importante es concebir a las escalas como complementarias e igualmente necesarias y significativas, y no como si una contuviera a las otras, al estilo de una mamushka.

The article presents some results of exploration of the historical cemetery in Kolyvan (Altai Krai) for the purpose of searching and assessing the current state of tombstones depicted by Tomsk architect Andrey Shilovsky during his stay in this locality in 1919. Kolyvan is a small village with a unique history dating back almost 300 years. In 1729, the first Akinfiy Demidov’s copper smelter in Altai was founded here and the beginning of mining production of this region was laid in this place. In 1802, on the site of a copper smelter the Kolyvan polishing factory was built and became the only stone-cutting art center in Siberia. The factory belonged to the Russian Emperor’s family and provided His Imperial Majesty with luxury items made from Altai stones, which were used for decorating of palace interiors and as a diplomatic gifts, thereby serving to maintain the prestige of the monarchy. Participants and creators of this great past are buried at the Kolyvan cemetery, so it is very important to study and preserve the historical tombstones here for the future generation. The necropolis can also become another point of attraction for tourists who annually visit natural and historical sites in Kolyvan and its environs in large numbers, and serve as a means for popularizing the local history. It was founded around 1772, but the earliest known tombstone for today dates back to 1835. In 1919, Tomsk architect Andrei Shilovsky visited Kolyvan, where he made more than 20 drawings of burials. More than 100 years later, in August 2023, the authors of this article found 7 tombstones depicted by the architect: the granite slab on the grave of the Kolyvan polishing factory manager Mikhal Laulin; the heavily damaged family burial of another manager of polishing factory Karl Ch. Wetzel, which included four monuments; the tombstone of the stone carver Antoniy Golovkin and his wife Evdokiya; and the partially lost monument at the grave of Paraskeva Ivacheva. Her son Pavel Ivachev, graduate of the Imperial Academy of Arts, was the manager of the Kolyvan polishing factory from 1894 to 1902 and also the chief foreman of the Peterhof lapidary factory from 1902 to 1910. Through to the drawings of Andrei Shilovsky and his descriptions to each of them, it became known how the monuments originally looked and what details were lost. The search for tombstones from the architect’s artworks will continue in 2024, but it is already identified those of them that were irretrievably destroyed. The next publication about the Kolyvan necropolis will be devoted to them. The artworks of Andrey Shilovskiy are published for the first time.
