Cloud Based Accounting

This study explores and identifies the most prominent factors contributing to adopting artificial intelligence (AI) technologies inside the accounting area in the nearby Iraqi environment. The look highlights the significance of synthetic intelligence as a fundamental element for enhancing efficiency and accuracy in accounting operations. The research relies on the descriptive analytical approach to analyze the phenomenon (adoption of AI in accounting), identify the factors affecting it in the local Iraqi environment, and analyze data derived from a sample of accountants and experts in Iraqi institutions that use modern accounting systems. Primary data were collected using a questionnaire designed to measure the factors affecting the adoption of AI (organizational, environmental, technical, and human), with a Likert scale to evaluate participants' opinions. Quantitative information was analyzed using statistical analysis equipment along with SPSS AMOS-and Excel to ensure the accuracy of the results and their systematic interpretation. The hypotheses were examined through (Confirmatory Factor Analysis-CFA) and (SEM-(Structural Equation Modeling). The observation concluded a statistically huge dating between organizational and environmental elements and the fulfillment of accountants' pride, in addition to a statistically vast courting between technical and human factors and the success of efficiency and accuracy. There is a statistically widespread relationship between every accountant's delight, efficiency, and accuracy with the success of adopting AI technology in the field of accounting and the absence of a straightforward, direct dating among every one of the elements (organizational, environmental, technical, and human) and the adoption of AI technology inside the discipline of accounting in the Iraqi environment.

This paper explores the overall effect of cloud-based accounting in enhancing financial information quality of organizations. Respondent demographics indicate a majority of female participants (57.1%) and those aged 31-44 years (52.6%). Educational qualifications showed 51.8% held a B.Sc, with MBA/M.Sc holders at 36.8%. The findings reveal that 63.9% of respondents agree on the benefits of cloud-based accounting for financial information quality, and 67.7% affirm its potential in reducing operational costs and increasing profitability in SMEs. Conversely, 62.4% of respondents disagree that real-time data access enhances managerial decision-making. Nonetheless, scalability features were largely recognized for sustaining profitability during growth. Chi-square analysis supports the hypothesis that cloud-based accounting systems improve financial information quality, reduce operational costs, and support scalability and growth. In conclusion, the findings underscore the significant impact of cloud-based accounting on financial inforamtion quality and profitability within organizations, especially in SMEs. The study reveals that while scalability and cost reduction are widely recognized benefits. Overall, the analysis confirms the potential of cloud accounting as a strategic tool in sustaining organizational growth, reducing operational costs, and improving financial oversight. These insights highlight the need for organizations to leverage cloud-based solutions to foster efficiency and long-term profitability.

Preventing and combating money laundering, the product of the transnational organized crime, in general, is one of the most efficient means of stopping this activity, which is a threat for the national or international economic operations. The penal incrimination and sanction of money laundering is a useful instrument for the accountability of all categories of offenders, but also with the purpose of imposing more severe sanctions for those who commit offences generating dirty money, behind so called legal commercial activities. Eventually, we shall review the internal regulations on money laundering, and also of the international judicial instruments incriminating this offence, analysing the offence by its constitutive elements.

The study examined the effect of Cloud-Based Accounting on Manufacturing firms in Nigeria, a study
of Twinstar Industries Ltd., Ogun State. The aim of the study is to ascertain the effect of Cloud-Based
Accounting on manufacturing firm policies and operations and to examine the effect of Information
Technology on the performance of Manufacturing firms in Nigeria. The survey was conducted in a
manufacturing firm in Ogun state, Nigeria with an approximate total of 261 staff. A total of 261
questionnaires were distributed to the staff of Twinstar Industries Limited, Ogun state. Two-hundred
and twenty-nine were retrieved representing 87.7% response rate. The dataset was analyzed using the
Analysis of Variance statistics. The study concluded that immediate information access helps to get a
clear picture of how your business is doing, and also to prepare for the market‘s future demands. It
showed that Cloud-Based Accounting has significant impact on manufacturing firm policies and
operations. It was recommended that there should be insights into the policymakers to better understand
and enable them to implement suitable strategies to minimise potential damaging factors and improve
current trends in their development.

The effect of money laundering in frustrating legitimate business, and in corrupting the financial and socio political system should not be taken for granted. It is against this backdrop that this study seeks to examine the economic implication of money laundering in Nigeria. The accidental sampling method was used in the selection of 635 persons out of which 624 representing 98.27% of the sampled persons completely filled and returned the questionnaires administered to them. Data collected were analyzed using the simple percentages method, the first hypothesis was tested using the chi-square test and it was found that money laundering do have significant effect on Nigeria’s economy with f-ratio of 476.163> f-critical of 12.592 at 0.05 level of significance with 6 degree of freedom, thus, the null hypothesis was rejected and the alternative was accepted. This study evaluated the financial risk in adopting cloud-based accounting systems among selected finance and accounting outsourcing companies in Quezon City. The research aimed to determine the profile of the respondents, assess the level of financial risk across technological, organizational, and environmental contexts, and identify significant differences when grouped according to company profile. A descriptive research design was employed, and data were gathered from 250 finance professionals using a structured questionnaire. The findings indicate that cloud server stability and data security posed the highest risks, while hardware and software compatibility were deemed less risky. The results show no significant differences in the technological context among the companies, while organizational and environmental risks varied based on company profile. Recommendations include further research on risk management strategies for cloud-based accounting systems.

To address these challenges, the healthcare industry is increasingly integrating cloud computing into its systems for enhanced efficiency. This study focuses on evaluating the implementation of cloud computing for the management of extensive data in the healthcare sector. To tackle this objective, we propose an intelligent optimal schema that leverages soft computing models for the classification and management of vast sensitive data in the cloud. The approach begins with the introduction of the smart flower optimization (SFO) algorithm, specifically designed to optimize the cloud central server. This optimization ensures system scalability while concurrently reducing user access time and communication delays. Additionally, a time-limited optimal access control mechanism is employed to safeguard data privacy. The snow leopard optimization (SLO) algorithm is applied to data access, mitigating security flaws and enhancing privacy. Intensive execution appraisals approve the adequacy of the proposed structure, uncovering exceptional exactness, accuracy, review, and F1-score upsides of 96.16%, 96.44%, 95.83%, and 96.14%, individually. These results emphasize the framework's exceptional capabilities in safeguarding sensitive healthcare data within the cloud computing platform from unauthorized access and maintaining its confidentiality.

Cloud computing is the future of the accounting industry and it is changing the way accountants manage their financial data efficiently. This study aims to (i) identify the major contributors to cloud computing in accounting research and (ii) understand the trends and distribution of research documents to assess the global research developments related to cloud computing and accounting. In this study, 284 publication documents in the fields of business, management, and accounting were analysed using a Scopus database dated 11 July 2022, covering the period from 2008 to 2021, as interest in this topic area is growing. The data was analysed using descriptive bibliometric analysis while Microsoft Excel was used to perform the frequency analysis. The results showed that the number of publications on the topic of "Cloud Computing in Accounting Research" has continuously increased over 13 years since 2008. Most publications were by researchers from the United States, followed by China, Germany, India, Australia, and the United Kingdom. India was the only Asian country listed in the top 10 national contributors by country. The citation analysis showed that the article by Oliveira et al. was the most highly cited in 2014, with 635 citations and that the preferred language for scientific publications was English. The analysis of research trends revealed an increasing trend of publications from 2013 to 2020 with more than 60% of documents published as journal articles. In the analysis of keywords, "cloud computing" was the most frequently used keyword (n=156) in the collected documents. These findings provide important insights that could guide and promote the use of cloud computing for accountants and practitioners by defining future research lines and a research agenda for academic researchers.

The objectives of this study are to understand the meaning of cloud accounting, to investigate whether it is favorable for performance of the organization and what are the challenges if a country like Bangladesh wants to implement it. Primary data have been collected from 300 respondents selected from the field of accounting, such as accountants, accounting graduates of different universities, teachers and bankers. To measure the reliability and validity of the sample size and data, KMO and Bartlett's test have been adopted and the results proved to be reliable and valid for the study. Regression analysis has been done to find out the positive impact of cloud accounting on organizational performance and negative impact of cloud accounting on existing accounting system of the organization. The results of regression analysis supported our alternative hypotheses that cloud accounting can improve organizational performance, but it has also some negative impacts. Descriptive statistics have been used to find out the probable challenges that may be faced by organizations that want to implement it. This is a pioneering study because there is little research on this topic, thus it is expected to develop awareness about cloud accounting in field of accounting in Bangladesh.

This study investigated the impact of technological advancement strategy on the performance of Julius Berger Nigeria plc. The objectives of the study were to establish relationship between training, knowledge usage, mobile technology and modern office equipment on employee productivity and organizational effectiveness in the construction industry. The study employed survey research. Primary data was used with questionnaire as the research instrument. The participants were 197 management and senior staff of Julius Berger Nigeria plc. The descriptive tools used were tables, means and standard deviations. Four hypotheses were developed for the study and tested using Pearson's Correlation, with the help of the Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS). The findings of this study revealed that training, knowledge usage, mobile technology and modern office equipment independently and collaboratively contribute to employee productivity and organizational effectiveness. Also, there is a connection between performance variables. Based on the findings, it was recommended that management should to stay abreast of modern way of doing business for improved productivity through training, knowledge usage, mobile technology usage and modern office equipment usage.

The adoption of technology will assists tax payers and the Kenya Revenue authority staff to file and administer taxes and offer e-filling and e-payments instead of using paper based system. The general objective of this study was to establish the effect of adopting technology and performance of Kenya Revenue Authority while the specific objectives was to find out the effect of perceived usefulness of adoption of technology on performance of Kenya Revenue Authority, to determine the perceived ease of use of technology on performance of Kenya Revenue Authority, to explore the effects of perceived behavioral control of technology on performance of Kenya Revenue Authority and lastly to determine the effects of perceived security of technology on performance of Kenya Revenue Authority. Technology Adoption Model and the Theory of Reasoned Action/Theory of Planned Behavior was used to guide the study. The study adopted a survey design in order to obtain the necessary data.T-test was used to determine the degree and significance of the relationship between variables. All the questionnaires were adequately checked for reliability and verification using tables, charts and graphs. The study was carried in the Nairobi's head office withtarget population of 220 respondents comprising of 20 Senior Assistant Commissioners, 30 Assistant Commissioners, 50 Senior Revenue Officers and 120 Revenue Officers of head office who add up to a total 220 respondents. Israel (2013) sample determination formula was utilized to determine the sample size and stratified random sampling used to identify the particular respondents to participate in the study. The required primary data was collected using structured questionnaire. Both quantitative and qualitative analysis was done using statistical package of social sciences (SPSS) (version 20).The analyzed data was then used to make conclusions, recommendations and suggestions for further research.

This study aims to prove and analyze profiles that can improve the material with experience as a conjunction variable. The research method used a descriptive correlative research with the source of distributing questionnaires to the selected sample of the auditor who works Central Java Public Accountant Office. The sampling technique used purposive sampling technique so that there are 100 respondents selected. Data analysis techniques using SEM test with the results of knowledge contribute to improved material consideration. Professional ethics is also able to contribute to material considerations and experience capable of being a conjunction variable between knowledge and professional ethics.

When the learning process is digitized, data mining for education information processing leverages information generated from internet databases to improve the educational learning paradigm for educational purposes. A potential platform for enabling e-learning systems is cloud computing. It may be automatically changed by offering a scalable solution for the long-term transformation of computer resource use. With the help of the traditional marketing mix elements and other subsidiary elements: People, Process, PreEmpting , and Permeate, this study analyzed the data collected through primary sources and assessed the influence of traditional marketing mix elements and other subsidiary elements on the development of tourism in Mysore Division. The study found that the conventional marketing mix strategies and subsidiary elements significantly influenced the tourism industry's development in Mysore Division.

The purpose of this research is to define "cloud computing", its functionality and implementation, define the function of a cloud security and refer to its existence, a literature review for previews attempts and improvements, a research on open-source security tools, the implementation of a cloud server and demonstration of security protection on cloud servers. Sequence diagrams, use cases will be included for the explanation of the functionality and their interaction with the system, and for business environments a chapter will be included for the management of the physical teams.

For any organization which depending on sensitive data processing it is very important to maintain information about every event occurring within the organization's system or network, these event details are called as log files. The log files will able to record user activities, troubleshooting problems and any policy violations. As this log files plays vital role and also contains sensitive information, it should be maintained very securely. The capital expenses will be very immense to maintain log data for many organizations over long period. The alternative economic solution is to maintaining log files over a cloud database. Log files with sensitive information over a cloud environment will leads to challenges about confidentiality and privacy. In this paper, we propose effective secure cloud-based log management and also the use of homomorphic encryption as a solution for dealing the issues to access a cloud based data storage.

The study aims to examine the relationship between liquidity ratios and indicators of financial performance (profitability ratios) in the food industrial companies listed in Amman Bursa during the period (2012-2014). The study sample included (8) industrial companies which operate in the field of food listed in Amman bursa. The results showed no relationship between all liquidity ratios and the gross profit margin, while there is a weak positive relationship between the current ratio and each of the operating profit margins and the net profit margin, as the study pointed to the existence of a positive relationship between (quick ratios, defensive interval ratio) and operating cash flow margin. There is a positive relationship between liquidity ratios (current ratio, quick ratio, cash ratio) and return on assets.

The paper assesses the determinants of the e-Government in improving public service delivery in Arusha Regional Immigration Office, Tanzania. It is a descriptive research designed to adopt the survey method using the questionnaire and interviews. A sample 60 respondents was used. The data was analysed using the descriptive and inferential methods. The study finds that infrastructure especially Information Technology influences the way e-Government has improved the public services delivery in Immigration Department in Tanzania. Against that backdrop, this paper aims to provide an overview of underlying factors affecting the adoption of cloud accounting in a developing country like Bangladesh by offering a framework. Moreover, possible obstacles to and benefits of adopting cloud accounting have also been focused on the study. As a theoretical review, this paper used secondary data sources for reviewing relevant literature that includes, browsing internet databases like Google scholar, emerald, web of science, and research gate to find research papers, articles, and study materials on cloud accounting.
