The objective of this study is to explore accounting information system user satisfaction, particulary, this study examines the level of accounting information system user satisfaction among state-owned banks in Indonesia. User satisfaction is generally used as a proxy for the successful implementation of an information system. The findings show that users are satisfied with the implementation of accounting information system. Specifically, majority of respondents indicate their satisfaction in terms of the content, accuracy of the system, format of the information, ease of use of the system, and timeliness of the accounting information system among the Indonesian state-owned banks. Thus, the management of state-owned banks in Indonesia are expected to maintain the good accounting information systems and improve the quality of the systems in order to achieve excellent services and further enhance the operations of the Indonesian state-owned banks.

particularly in private sectors organization. Thus, the study aims to contribute to the
existing body of knowledge in the area of information technology.
Design/methodology/approach - Theoretically, this study measures and validates the
instrument of Doll and Torkzadeh EUCS (with some additional dimensions) among
private companies. The study relied on survey design.
Findings - This paper revised and validated instruments for measuring end-user
computing satisfaction (EUCS) in computerized accounting system (CAS) in private

study to measure and validate the factors contributing to end-user computing
satisfaction.
Originality/value - The relationship between the management of an organisation and
the information system are measured by the satisfaction of the users. This
phenomenon encourages a more focused measurement to explain the overall
satisfaction of the computerised accounting system (CAS).

This paper is to examine critical factors; content, accuracy, format, ease of use, timeliness, satisfaction with system speed and system reliability in End-User Computing Satisfaction (EUCS) that influence most end-users' satisfaction. The research was conducted using a set of questionnaire consist of seven factors; content, accuracy, format, ease of use, timeliness, satisfaction with system speed and system reliability to measure end-users' satisfaction. In addition, this study covered 90 end-users of Computerised Accounting System (CAS) in finance department from 62 Responsibility Centres. This study is analyzed with reliability analysis, descriptive analysis and multiple regressions. Overall, this study indicates that most of end-users are almost satisfied with Computerised Accounting System (CAS). The results show that ease of use, content, and accuracy has a significant effect on end-users' satisfaction. Therefore, the empirical results of this study can provide support for the Doll and Torkzadeh model (1988), which related to the factors contributing end-users' satisfaction toward accounting system.
