Transforming Birmingham New Street station
The Gateway project will transform Birmingham's New Street station, doubling passenger capacity and creating an iconic, modern 21st century transport hub for Birmingham and the West Midlands.
Impact on travel
Network Rail has planned the construction work to minimise disruption. New Street will remain open throughout the project allowing passengers to catch their train as normal.
