PROJECT EVERGREEN 3

Introduction

This web site is part of an extensive consultation exercise Chiltern Railways has embarked on as part of its plans to run services between Marylebone and Oxford via a new line. Chiltern is consulting with individuals, organizations and representative bodies about the scheme which is designed to connect the Chiltern line with the East-West line and offer fast and frequent services between London, Bicester Town and Oxford stations. Bicester Town, Islip and Oxford stations will be upgraded to accommodate the service and a new station will be built at Water Eaton Parkway, providing convenient access to North Oxford, the hospitals and Kidlington.
