Visitor Center Tours and Programs for Prospective Undergraduates (Updated 7/8/2025)
The Stanford Visitor Center is generally open from Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (with the exception of most federal holidays and some breaks between quarters) to provide information about visiting campus.

The Office of Undergraduate Admission offers a variety of tours and programs, both virtually and in person, for prospective undergraduate students and their supporters.
Live virtual offerings are available on a semi-weekly basis during most times of the year. Tours for organized groups (10 or more people) are provided seasonally to qualifying organizations based upon the availability of student tour guides.
Visitor Center CLOSED on Friday, August 15 (Updated 8/11/2025)
As previously announced and posted, the Stanford Visitor Center will be CLOSED on Friday, August 15 to allow for an annual staff training event.

Visitors are of course still welcome and encouraged to visit and explore campus on their own. Campus maps are available outside the Visitor Center or can be found online at visit.stanford.edu/explore-campus/ . The Visitor Center will re-open again on Monday morning, August 18 at 9:00am.
Registration for Summer and Fall 2025 Tours and Programs (Updated 8/11/2025)
As the very busy summer continues, registration for all campus tours and programming taking place this fall through the end of the calendar year is now available online at admission.stanford.edu/engage

Most of our tours for the summer are already at full capacity by advance registrants. Visitors who register online for a general campus visit (self-guided tour) will be given priority when on campus for any additional spaces on guided tours that are available due to no-shows, cancellations, and increased staffing.
Tours are offered throughout the day each weekday during the summer (other than July 3-4, August 15, and September 1-18, when guided tours will not be offered). Admission information sessions and discussion panels ("Student Forum" and "Parents/Supporters Q&A") are offered multiple times per week. Weekend tours are not offered during the summer.
Fall Quarter programs (starting Friday, September 19) were posted online on Monday, August 11 and are now available for registration.
Information for Groups/Organizations Requesting a Tour (Updated 8/12/2025)
Group Tours for Summer 2025 are offered to qualifying groups/organizations of 10 or more on weekdays from July 7 through August 14. All remaining dates for the summer are full at this point.
Group Tour offerings will resume for the Fall starting the week of October 6. Requests must be submitted at this point via email to: grouptours@stanford.edu

Approved organizations: The Office of Undergraduate Admission seasonally offers guided tours by appointment for prospective undergraduate student groups of 10 or more people (up to 50 max) from the following categories:
- High Schools
- Community Colleges
- Not-For-Profit Organizations focused on Access or Exposure to College
- Qualifying Community Based Organizations
Please note that we will not grant requests for group visits through commercial or third-party tour operators. All requests and communications must come from and be processed through a qualifying organization.
