I remember seeing a table in a PDF (probably on CTAN/tug) that list combinations of common fonts (such as Times, Helvetica, Palatino, Optima), and rate the combination from 1 to 3 (1 being working well, and 3 being working poorly).
Does anyone have a reference to that table? Many thanks!
Do you remember when/how long ago you saw this? Was there anything else in the pdf, or was the table the only thing in the document? Was there any mention of LaTeX that you remember?
@Marijn I think I saw it very recently when trying to research a good sans-serif pairing available in TeXLive for Times or Palatino, but I have done the usual filetype: and site: searches, and couldn't find anything. I cannot be 100% sure that there's LaTeX. I think the document has some extra information (at least some context surrounding the table).
