"Works So Well For Small Business" Posted 2023-03-19
Pros: Our needs were very basic and File Camp allowed us to manage our digital assets at a very reasonable price. The free trial was exactly what we needed to evaluate the platform and we signed on as a happy customer.
Cons: It would be great if my collections were visible to other users on the team.
Overall: Fantastic - I received personal attention as a new customer and the training videos are very helpful when I'm not sure how to do something in the platform.

"Very useful storage system. " Posted 2023-03-09
Pros: Useful for storing all of your media. It's helpful to be able to add different users and give them each different permissions. The support team are very good.
Cons: It is very frustrating that you cannot delete one item at a time from the trash/deleted items folder.
Overall: Overall a good product that we have used for a few years now. It would be great if they could make it so you can delete one item at a time from the trash/deleted items folder!

"Great cloud-based photo and file management app for small and medium sized teams" Posted 2023-03-08
Pros: Pretty intuitive working, great tagging options, and the ability to create and share collections from various parts of the site is super-helpful.
Cons: No ability to drag and drop files or folders, at least on the same page--the more it could work like the apple finder, the better it would be.
Overall: Great medium level DAM at a reasonable price. It's easy to get other team members to use the basics, and administrators have a full range of features such as tagging and search.

"Revolutionary" Posted 2023-03-08
Pros: It used to be that I would have to send images & other content via other conventional means and it was hit and miss. Not even close to the organization tools at the ready with Filecamp. I can create folders that are somewhat generic and applicable to send to everyone, while other folders are specific and customized to a certain client. I get excellent feedback from those receiving the files too; they think I'm cutting edge . . .
Cons: There were a few glitches that I had to work through, mostly internal. I like that I can copy myself on each file I send to ensure that delivery is made.
Overall: Love it. I opened a new business and with it, tried Filecamp as my main source for disseminating new images, promotional videos, rate sheets, logo and logo specifications; the whole ball of wax. In one sending, I could accomplish everything I needed.

"A perfect, narrowly focused solution" Posted 2023-03-08
Pros: Simple system that does one thing very well and the price is reasonable. I really like the uploading and organization features.
Cons: The sorting and analytics of users could be improved. Currently not bad but would be nice to have more granular data on site usage.
Overall: We use Filecamp to deliver our marketing assets to our global partners. Filecamp is super easy for me (full time sales with added responsibilities of marketing) to organize and give all our digital assets to named accounts.

I tried other systems (paid and "free") and most folks tried to do too much - so their systems got complicated and cumbersome. -

"Easy, light, and effective" Posted 2023-02-28
Pros: The interface is straightforward and user-friendly, requiring minimal effort to operate and upkeep. With Filecamp, I can effortlessly share files with both external vendors and internal teams, eliminating the need for them to create logins or accounts. Additionally, Filecamp's functionality enables me to send links with an expiration date, which is incredibly useful.
Cons: No cons. But this form should not stop me from sending my review. For what it is and does Filecamp is enough.
Overall: For an affordable price and numerous features, Filecamp is THE DAM I was looking for. I can have my assets in a secure place and easily share them. It also helped my team to find the brand assets easier, improving our creative processes.

"The safe camp for my files" Posted 2023-02-03
Pros: I love Filecamp. I've been using it for years while working with branding and corporate identity. This tool can be used in many ways but how I use it is as a safe camp for my clients identity. A container to keep their logos, colors, brand manual and brand elements up-to-date, available to their team and shareable with anyone. It is a brilliant tool for this.
Cons: The only thing is as this is not "one of the big" file companies I have to explain to my clients that this is a safe and great solution for them, but they quickly learn how easy it and then it's all good.
Overall: Easy to use all-in-one file server made from people who clearly understands my needs as a professional user. Thank you Filecamp.

"We have fallen in love with Filecamp" Posted 2020-10-19
Pros: Extremely easy to get up and running, and use, especially for a non-technical person. Very flexible, and a rich set of functionality. Pricing model is very reasonable. Great experience for the end user, with intuitive functionality, easy to follow navigation, and user friendly interface. Visible pricing before purchase. No hassle when signing up. We'd highly recommend this product!
Cons: Would be better if the thumbnails page doesn't automatically scroll back to the top after you click off an image.
Overall: Very simple, easy to navigate. Finally found the perfectly organised, simple storage system we need to easily access our jumbled mess of files! I didn't know that you could actually fall in love with a piece of software, but you can!

"I love Filecamp and so do all our clients" Posted 2020-09-23
Pros: FileCamp interface is very intuitive. There is a really good balance between having an out-of-the-box solution and being able to customize things. Custom tags and multiple ways of tagging assets was my biggest priority. The ability to create branded portals and "request files links" has been a gamechanger for us in asset distribution and collection of media files. And the fact that we can invite all the users we like without having to think about extra costs is really cool!
Cons: Hmmm, that's a hard one to answer. 2020 was a bad year for most businesses but Filecamp was certainly one of the better things.
Overall: For years we've been struggling with huge email threads with assets and multiple Dropbox folders. Filecamp has replaced all that. Very clean media library. Just the right amount of features to fit our needs. Also, you can share files with colleagues and customers very easily.

"FileCamp a great (and affordable!) DAM solution straight out of the box and easy to use!" Posted 2020-01-14
Pros: I'll highly recommend FileCamp for all marketers interested in better management and control of your company media files.
Especially, I like the ability to easily create multiple bespoke portals for our clients. They are all really impressed when they access the files we create for them in their "own" environment. It's all very user-friendly where finding files is easy. The cost of ownership is good, compared to other DAM solutions.Cons: We would love to have FileCamp better integrated with our InDesign workflow. Right now it's not integrated at all and we only use Filecamp to share final and approved artwork.
Overall: We've researched a lot of DAMs but couldn't justify most of their pricing especially because of many charges per seat. FileCamp comes with unlimited users in all plans. Furthermore, I've seen continuous improvement since signing up with them, which tells me they're listening and investing in their product.
