@Ladsgroup the train hasn't rolled yet I don't think

Do you remember if it was a 404 when attempting to transfer a file from a url that doesn't exist? Or some 404 inside v2c itself?
@Reedy was this an error you got from video2commons itself?

Yeah I guess so. It never got done, but if we're returning to work on MediaSearch probably too much will have changed for this ticket to be useful
It was never developed because we haven't done any work on image search for a few years. It is still valid

Ok grand ... ought i create a separate ticket for that?

Also, perhaps we could negatively-boost File_talk: pages? See @Prototyperspective 's comment here https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Talk:Community_Wishlist/Wishes/When_searching_Commons,_under_%22Categories_and_Pages%22_show_the_category_for_the_search_term#Improvements
File talk pages are ranked way too high
I guess the open question is, should an exact title match somehow go around deboosts?

You know this already @dcausse, but just wanted to have it in the ticket comments for reference - Category:Roses is just an empty page with the template {{category redirect|Rosa}}, so perhaps that's why it's not appearing in the results?

@Ladsgroup looking at the code here I'm not sure we need the join to page at all. If we don't need the join, and as a result can put these tables in x1, does that change your view on the table structure?

Should this is in QA?
Is this P0? Seems like it might be ...
This is P0 right? Seems to have been merged so can we move to QA?
Patch is merged - can this be moved to QA or closed?
+1 to @MusikAnimal above. We should not allow voting on wishes until they have been reviewed
So ... is this done? There's no code review for this right?

I don't think I need to be present, and your plan sounds good
@Scott_French I don't see this in https://wikitech.wikimedia.org/wiki/Deployments ... are you gonna do the deployment or do you want someone else to do it?

Oh I agree - I was thinking that pagination-plus-filtering might make more sense than having separate pagination for each namespace
This might be simplified by filtering by namespace rather than grouping by namespace

So should we close this?

Do we really want to monitor template-favouriting-use on a continuous basis? If not then a dashboard seems like overkill for this. We can test the hypothesis by querying the db, right? A dashboard that nobody is gonna look at seems like a waste

I created T392896: Add a community-configurable list of "useful templates" to a tab in the template picker to cover the first bullet point under number 2 in the previous comment, so now I think all the ideas contained in this ticket are covered elsewhere. Closing in favour of the more detailed tickets
@Esanders - see @Samwilson 's comment ... basically all the bits of T55590 are now covered by other tickets except for this, so I've created this and am about to close T55590 (unless you have an objection?)

Done
This is done, and the data is currently being gathered and stored in hive in mediawiki_upload_tracking.upload and mediawiki_upload_tracking.commonswiki_deletion_request

Ok so after talking this through last night we think we're going to have 2 templates - {{focus-area-header}} and {{focus-area-footer}}, and this one will be used in the footer
