Abstract

1. An upright wine fermentation tank having a first circular cylindrical portion (1) and a tapered bottom, said bottom being formed by a second circular cylindrical portion (9) which is intersected by two sloping plane wall surfaces, being located opposite one another and between the lower ends of which is located a discharge screw (12), characterized in that a truncated cone-shaped portion (8) abuts on the lower end of said first circular cylindrical portion (1), that said second circular cylindrical portion (9) has a smaller diameter as compared with said first circular cylindrical portion (1) and abuts on the lower end of said truncated cone-shaped portion (8).
