Abstract

The invention concerns a wind machine comprising: a wind regulating shaft (30), a rotor (40) pivoting about a vertical axis, blades (70) pivoting about their own vertical axis (6), for each blade (70), a mechanical transmission comprising a gearbox (60) for driving said blade (70) selectively at a power speed and a flag speed whereby, when the rotor (40) completes one revolution about the vertical axis in the rotational direction, said blade (70) completes respectively a half-revolution and one revolution about said blade own axis (6) in an opposite rotational direction, a detecting and controlling assembly, an energy converting system capable of converting the rotational energy of the rotor into electric power.
