Abstract

The invention concerns a device for assembling into one single element the functions of a rim bore reinforcement and of a spoke tension maintenance and adjustment nut on certain bicycle wheels. It consists of a reinforcement (5-2) and a nut (5-1) assembled such that the reinforcement can swivel freely about the nut. The nut head (5-3) enables the assembly to be mounted on the spoke. The nut comprises a grip system (5-4) which enables the spoke to be adjusted once the wheel is mounted by means of an adapted tool.
