Description
- 1. Field of the Invention
- The present invention relates to an improved umbrella handle structure, and particularly to an improved umbrella handle structure which can be assembled with an umbrella rapidly so that the assembly time and cost therefor can be saved.
- 2. Description of the Prior Art
- For an umbrella, an umbrella handle is indispensable so that a user can hold the umbrella for sunburn and rain isolation purposes, any kind of umbrellas is alike. In structure, the umbrella handle is generally disposed at the distal end of a post located at the center of the umbrella. However, there are still some shortcomings associated with the conventional umbrella handle: (1) Since the handle is made of a rigid material, the user can not feel comfortable when holding it. (2) Since the handle is assembled by fixing two positioning seats with a screw, it is time consuming and increased in the cost of the screw for the handle.
- In view of the above, the conventional umbrella handle structure has still something to be improved. After a long term research and experiment, such improved umbrella handle structure is finally developed and taken as the present invention.
- It is, therefore, present invention is to provide an improved umbrella handle structure which is assembled in a snap fitting manner so that the assembly work therefor can be achieved with lower labor time and cost.
- The present invention is to provide an improved umbrella handle structure in which silicon glue is filled so that the user can be brought a feel of softness and comfort when holding the umbrella handle.
- According to the present invention, the improved umbrella handle structure comprises a main body shaped as a dumbbell shape and having a through-hole, an upper end and a lower end, wherein the through-hole running through the upper and lower ends, a first positioning seat having a fastening portion, a second positioning seat having a thread hole therein, wherein the fastening portion and the fastening hole are fastened to each other so that the first and second positioning seats are fixedly engaged to the main body, a soft glue cap under which the main body is sleeved so that a closed space is formed between the soft glue cap and the main body, wherein a silicon glue is filled within the closed space so that a comfort feel may be brought to a user holding an umbrella having the umbrella handle structure.
- These features and advantages of the present invention will be fully understood and appreciated from the following detailed description of the accompanying Drawings.
-
FIG. 1 is an exploded view of an umbrella handle structure according to the present invention; -
FIG. 2 is a perspective view of the umbrella handle structure according to the present invention; -
FIG. 3 is a cross sectional view of the umbrella handle structure according to the present invention; -
FIG. 4 is a schematic diagram of implementation of the umbrella handle structure according to the present invention; and -
FIG. 5 is a cross sectional view of implementation of the umbrella handle structure according to the present invention; - Referring to
FIG. 1 throughFIG. 3 , an improved umbrella handle structure comprises amain body 1, afirst positioning seat 2, asecond positioning seat 3, asoft glue cap 4 an upper and 51, 52.lower mask - The
main body 1 is shaped approximately as a dumbbell having an upper and lower ends. A through-hole 11 runs through themain body 1 from the upper end to the lower end. Aslot 12 is connected respectively to a side of the upper and lower ends (the upper side and the lower side). Thefirst positioning seat 2 has a stagedcap rim 21. Afastening portion 22 extends from a center of thecap rim 21. Afastening rim 23 is disposed circumferentially with respect to thecap rim 21. Thefastening portion 22 of thefirst positioning seat 2 is inserted into the through-hole 11 of themain body 1 through the lower side of themain body 1. As such, the front side of thecap rim 21 of thefirst positioning seat 2 is received within theslot 12 at the lower side of themain body 1. Thefastening hole 31 at the lower end of thesecond positioning seat 3 is inserted into the through-hole 11 of themain body 1. As such, thefastening hole 31 of thesecond positioning seat 3 and thefastening portion 22 of thefirst positioning seat 2 are fastened to each other. Correspondingly, the first and 2, 3 are fixedly engaged in thesecond positioning seats main body 1. And a front end of thecap rim 33 of thesecond positioning seat 3 is received within theslot 12 at the upper side of themain body 1. - A
fastening hole 31 is disposed at alower end 31 of thesecond positioning seat 3 and a stagedcap rim 33 is disposed at an upper end of thesecond positioning seat 3. Athread hole 32 is disposed within thecap rim 33 for connection with a post of the umbrella. Afastening rim 34 is disposed on thecap rim 33. - The
soft glue cap 4 takes a hollow shape and has an upper side and a lower side. The upper and lower sides of thesoft glue cap 4 tapers and extend outside astop rim 41. The upper and lower sides further extend from thestop rim 41 to form astop piece 41 of “L” shape. Themain body 1 is sleeved in thesoft glue cap 4 in a manner that the stop rim 41 of the upper and lower sides of thesoft glue cap 4 and the upper and lower ends of themain body 1 stop against each other. At this time, astop piece 42 of thesoft glue cap 4 enters theslot 12 of themain body 1. Correspondingly, thesop piece 42 urges against the wall of theslot 12 at one end and the walls of the 21, 33 of the first andrespective cap rims 2, 3, so that an closed space is formed between thesecond positioning seat main body 1 and the soft glue cap 5, within whichsilicon glue 7 is filled. - The upper and
51, 52 cover thelower masks 21, 33 of the first andcap rims 2, 3, respectively, and are fasten to thesecond positioning seats 23, 34 on thefastening rims 21, 33, respectively, so that thecap rims stop rim 41 of thesoft glue cap 4 is closely urged, with which the umbrella handle is provided with a visually pleasant effect. - Referring to
FIG. 4 andFIG. 5 , which are a schematic diagram and a cross sectional view of implementation of the umbrella handle structure according to the present invention. On thesecond positioning seat 3, athread hole 32 for fixation of thepost 6 of the umbrella is provided. Theblot 32 may have an aperture whose dimension may vary as that of thepost 6 changes. As such, the umbrella handle may be connected and thus used with anypost 6 which may be suitable for supporting the umbrella. Furthermore, sincesilicon glue 7 is filled between thesoft glue cap 4 and themain body 1, the user can be brought a feel of softness and comfort when holding the umbrella handle. - As compared to the prior art, the improved umbrella handle structure of the present invention further has the following advantages: (1) Since the umbrella handle is assembled in a snap fitting manner, the assembly work can be achieved with lower labor time and cost. (2) Since silicon glue is filled in the umbrella handle, the user can be brought a feel of softness and comfort when holding the umbrella handle. Since the umbrella handle provides a novel spacious arrangement and some efficacies, it should be deemed having novelty and nonobviousness.
- Many changes and modifications in the above described embodiment of the invention can, of course, be carried out without departing from the scope thereof. Accordingly, to promote the progress in science and the useful arts, the invention is disclosed and is intended to be limited only by the scope of the appended claims.
