Abstract

The multi-purpose furniture unit is partic. for recreational purposes, comprising a number of components, the main one of which is on oblong container to which the others are secured to form different units. The two long sidewalls have hollow ribs, open at top and bottom and opposite each other, between their ends, extending for the entire sidewall height. These accommodate and/or support components such as bars (4), tubes, frames, boxes etc fitted to the container to form the complete unit. One of the other components can be a frame (3) with four vertical bars or tubes at the top and detachable if necessary from the frame corners. Fixing wing nuts (8) secure it to the container, and the frame also has a hollow tube (5) accommodating an axle for wheels (6) supporting it.
