Abstract

Claims (20)
1. Un dispositivo de aislamiento para un tapón de fractura, el dispositivo de aislamiento que comprende: un asiento de bola que tiene una superficie de asiento; y una bola configurada para entrar en contacto con la superficie de asiento; en donde un perfil de la superficie de asiento corresponde a un perfil de la bola.
2. El dispositivo de aislamiento de la reivindicación 1 , en donde el perfil de la superficie de asiento es arqueado.
3. El dispositivo de aislamiento de la reivindicación 1 , en donde el radio de curvatura del perfil de la superficie de asiento es sustancialmente igual al radio de curvatura del perfil de la bola.
4. El dispositivo de aislamiento de la reivindicación 1, en donde el perfil de la superficie de asiento comprende al menos dos secciones discretas.
5. El dispositivo de aislamiento de la reivindicación 4, en donde al menos una sección discreta comprende un perfil lineal.
6. El dispositivo de aislamiento de la reivindicación 5, en donde el ángulo de una primera sección discreta con respecto a un eje central del asiento de bola es diferente al ángulo de una segunda sección discreta.
7. El dispositivo de aislamiento de la reivindicación 4, en donde al menos una sección discreta comprende un perfil arqueado.
8. El dispositivo de aislamiento de la reivindicación 7, en donde el radio de curvatura de una primera sección discreta es diferente a un radio de curvatura de una segunda sección discreta.
9. El dispositivo de aislamiento de la reivindicación 1 , en donde el asiento de bola comprende además una primera sección dispuesta axialmente encima de la superficie de asiento, en donde la primera sección comprende un perfil ahusado.
10. El dispositivo de aislamiento de la reivindicación 1 , en donde la bola comprende una resina fenólica y fibra de vidrio.
11. El dispositivo de aislamiento de la reivindicación 1 , en donde el asiento de bola se forma de aluminio.
12. Un tapón de fractura que comprende: un mandril que tiene un extremo superior y un extremo inferior; un elemento de sellado dispuesto alrededor del mandril; y un asiento de bola dispuesto dentro de un agujero central del mandril, en donde el asiento de bola comprende una superficie de asiento que tiene un perfil no lineal.
13. El tapón de fractura de la reivindicación 12, en donde la superficie de asiento comprende un perfil arqueado.
14. El tapón de fractura de la reivindicación 12, en donde el perfil no lineal de la superficie de asiento comprende al menos dos secciones discretas.
15. El tapón de fractura de la reivindicación 14, en donde al menos una sección discreta comprende un perfil lineal.
16. El tapón de fractura de la reivindicación 14, en donde al menos una sección discreta comprende un perfil arqueado.
17. Un método para aislar zonas de una formación de producción, el método que comprende: correr un tapón de fractura hacia el fondo del pozo hacia una localización determinada entre una primera zona y una segunda zona; colocar el tapón de fractura entre la primera zona y la segunda zona; disponer una bola dentro del tapón de fractura; y asentar una bola en un asiento de bola del tapón de fractura, el asiento de bola que incluye una superficie de asiento que tiene un perfil que se corresponde sustancialmente con el perfil de la bola.
18. El método de la reivindicación 17, que comprende además aumentar un diferencial de presión a través de la bola y del asiento de bola.
19. El método de la reivindicación 17, en donde el perfil de la superficie de asiento es arqueado.
20. El método de la reivindicación 17, en donde el perfil de la superficie de asiento comprende al menos dos secciones discretas.
