Abstract

A clothing treatment device is disclosed, and according to one embodiment of the present invention, the clothing treatment device includes a cabinet, a drum provided inside the cabinet and configured to receive clothing, and a screen output unit provided in the cabinet and configured to output a screen, wherein the screen output unit outputs a screen including a course name area in which the name of a course for treating clothing is displayed and a suggestion area in which a suggested course different from the course currently displayed in the course name area is suggested, and when the suggestion area is selected, the name of the suggested course is displayed in the course name area.

{LAUNDRY TREATING APPARATUS AND CONTROL METHOD FOR THE SAME}

The present invention relates to a clothing treatment device and a control method thereof, and more particularly, to a clothing treatment device including a screen output unit for outputting a screen, and a control method thereof.

A garment treatment device is a device that removes contamination from laundry by placing clothes, bedding, etc. (hereinafter referred to as laundry) inside a drum. A garment treatment device can perform processes such as washing, rinsing, dehydration, and drying, and garment treatment devices can be classified into top loading and front loading methods based on the method of placing laundry into the drum.

A clothes treatment device may be configured to include a housing forming an exterior, a tub accommodated inside the housing, a drum rotatably mounted inside the tub and into which laundry is fed, and a detergent supply device supplying detergent into the inside of the drum.

When the drum rotates by a motor while washing water is supplied to the laundry contained in the drum, dirt on the laundry can be removed through friction with the drum and washing water.

The detergent supply device is equipped with a detergent supply function to enhance the washing effect. Here, the detergent refers to a substance that enhances the washing effect, such as a fabric detergent, a fabric softener, and a fabric bleach. The detergent can be a powdered detergent or a liquid detergent.

Meanwhile, the clothing treatment device can perform a course setting process that can set a course for treating clothing. The above courses can be set in advance as multiple courses through the control unit, and during the course setting process, the user can select one of the multiple courses to proceed with treating clothing.

In the course setting process, various options for the course can be set. For example, the various options include an adjustable option in which one option value must be determined in the course, such as a washing intensity option and a rinse cycle option, and the option value can be adjusted by the user.

In addition, the various options include simple additional options, such as steam options, where the application or non-application of the course can be determined by the user. Furthermore, even if a user decides on one of multiple courses by considering various conditions, if the courses displayed on the course setting screen are changed in the order of the multiple courses, the user may have to perform repeated operations to change from the currently displayed course to the course decided by the user, which may be inconvenient.

Therefore, in order to increase the convenience of use and satisfaction with clothing processing, it is an important task in this technical field to provide various courses, while conveniently providing users with reasonable courses by considering conditions for clothing processing, etc., and further providing users with a simple and convenient course change process.

Embodiments of the present invention aim to provide a clothing treatment device and a control method thereof that can effectively improve the convenience of use for course setting.

In addition, embodiments of the present invention aim to provide a clothing treatment device and a control method thereof that can effectively shorten the course setting process.

In addition, embodiments of the present invention aim to provide a garment treatment device and a control method thereof that can provide a user with a convenient and efficient course setting state.

One embodiment of the present invention includes a screen output unit provided in a cabinet. The screen output unit may include a display configured as an LCD or the like to output a screen. The screen output unit may output a course setting screen that provides course setting information during the course setting process for clothing treatment.

A course setting screen may define multiple areas, one of which may display a course to be set, and another of which may be a suggestion area that suggests settings for processing clothing to the user.

The suggestion area may display a suggested course that is different from the course scheduled to be performed and displayed on the course setting screen. The suggestion area is displayed so that it can be selected by the user, and when the suggestion area is selected, the course displayed on the course setting screen may be changed to the suggested course.

One embodiment of the present invention can improve usability through the diversity of courses by providing a plurality of courses to the user, and further improve usability by suggesting to the user a course that can be a better choice through a suggestion area.

The garment treatment device according to one embodiment of the present invention as described above includes a cabinet, a drum, and a screen output unit. The drum is provided inside the cabinet and accommodates garments. The screen output unit is provided in the cabinet and outputs a screen.

The above screen output section outputs a screen including a course name area in which the name of a course for processing clothing is displayed and a suggestion area in which a suggested course different from the course currently displayed in the course name area is presented, and when the suggestion area is selected, the name of the suggested course is displayed in the course name area.

If the proposed course is displayed in the course name area above, the name of the proposed course may disappear from the suggestion area above. If the name of the proposed course is displayed in the course name area above, a description of the proposed course may be displayed in the suggestion area above.

The above screen output section can display the proposed course in the proposal area when the proposal conditions for the proposed course are met. The above screen output section can be displayed in the proposal area when the proposal conditions are met within a specific time range.

The above drum is provided to be rotatable, and the maximum rotation RPM of the drum may be lower than the course displayed in the course name area before selection of the above suggestion area.

The above suggestion area may display a suggestion indicator indicating the above suggestion course and a suggestion phrase for suggesting the above suggestion course. The suggestion indicator may be defined to include at least a part of the suggestion phrase in the above suggestion area.

The above suggestion indicator may include a border separating at least a portion of the suggestion text from the remainder.

The above screen output section is provided to detect a user's touch signal on the screen, and when the touch signal occurs in at least a part of the suggestion area, the suggested course can be displayed in the course name area.

The above courses are provided in a plurality of courses whose order is determined in the course name area, and the screen output unit can display the plurality of courses in order in the course name area when the touch signal occurs in a sliding manner on the screen.

When the above suggestion area is selected and the above suggestion course is displayed in the course name area, the screen output unit can display a course corresponding to the first priority among the plurality of courses in the course name area when the touch signal is generated in the sliding manner.

One embodiment of the present invention may further include an input unit provided in the cabinet and generating an input signal by a user, and the suggestion area may be selected according to the input signal.

One embodiment of the present invention may further include a button section provided in the cabinet and operated by a user to generate an input signal, and the suggestion area may be selected according to the input signal.

The above screen output section can output a course setting screen that includes the course name area and the suggestion area and can set the course displayed in the course name area.

The above course setting screen may further include an option information area in which setting values of at least some of the multiple adjustable options in the course displayed in the course name area are displayed.

Meanwhile, in one embodiment of the present invention, the screen output unit outputs a screen in which the name of one of a plurality of courses for processing clothing and a proposed course different from one of the courses are displayed, and when the proposed course is selected, the name of one of the courses may be changed to the name of the proposed course and displayed.

Meanwhile, a control method of a clothing treatment device according to one embodiment of the present invention includes a course setting step, a proposal step, and a proposal application step.

In the course setting step, a course setting screen can be output through the screen output section above, in which the name of one of multiple courses for processing clothing is displayed in the course name area.

In the proposal stage, a proposed course different from any one of the courses displayed on the course setting screen can be displayed in the proposal area of the course setting screen.

In the proposal application step, if the above proposal area is selected, the name of the above proposed course may be displayed instead of one of the above in the course name area.

In the above proposal step, the screen output section can display proposal content including the name of the proposed course or a phrase proposing the proposed course in the proposal area.

One embodiment of the present invention may further include a proposal condition determination step in which the control unit determines whether the proposal content satisfies the proposal condition for display in the proposal area.

The above control unit stores the above proposal contents as multiple proposal contents, each having its own proposal condition set, and in the proposal condition determination step, the control unit can determine whether each of the multiple proposal contents satisfies the proposal condition.

In the above suggestion application step, if the suggested course is displayed in the course name area, the name of the suggested course may disappear from the suggestion area.

In the above suggestion application step, when the above suggestion course is displayed in the course name area, a description of the above suggestion course may be displayed in place of the name of the above suggestion course in the above suggestion area.

FIG. 1 illustrates a garment treatment device (1) according to one embodiment of the present invention. The garment treatment device (1) according to one embodiment of the present invention includes a cabinet (10). The cabinet (10) has a space defined therein and can form the exterior of the garment treatment device (1).

The cabinet (10) may include a front panel, a rear panel, a side panel, and a top panel. The plurality of panels may be combined with each other to form the cabinet (10). A clothing opening (12) connecting the exterior and interior of the cabinet (10) may be formed on one side of the cabinet (10).

FIG. 1 illustrates a clothing opening (12) formed on a front panel according to one embodiment of the present invention, but the location of the clothing opening (12) is not necessarily limited to the front panel.

The clothing door (15) may be coupled to the cabinet (10) to selectively shield the clothing opening (12). For example, the clothing door (15) may be rotatably coupled to the front panel to shield the clothing opening (12) depending on the rotational position.

One embodiment of the present invention may include a control panel (100). The control panel (100) may include an input unit (120) and an output unit. However, the input unit (120) and the output unit are not necessarily limited to being provided only in the control panel (100).

The user can understand course setting information or course progress information from information output through the output unit, and can issue various commands to the control unit (90), such as changing the course setting, by operating the input unit (120) to generate an input signal. A detailed description of the control panel (100) and the control unit (90) will be described later.

Meanwhile, Fig. 2 illustrates the interior of a garment treatment device (1). The interior of the garment treatment device (1) defined by a cabinet (10) may be equipped with a tub (30) and a drum (20).

A tub (30) may be provided inside the clothing treatment device (1) to accommodate water. The tub (30) may include a tub opening (35) facing the clothing opening (12). Accordingly, clothing that a user opens the clothing door (15) and puts in through the clothing opening (12) may pass through the clothing opening (12) and the tub opening (35) and be accommodated inside the tub (30).

The drum (20) may be provided to be rotatable inside the tub (30). One embodiment of the present invention may further include a driving unit (70), and the drum (20) may be connected to the driving unit (70) to receive rotational force.

The drum (20) can accommodate clothing inside. The drum (20) can include a drum opening (25) facing the tub opening (35). Accordingly, clothing that a user puts in through the clothing opening (12) can be accommodated inside the drum (20) through the tub opening (35) and the drum opening (25).

One embodiment of the present invention may include a water supply unit (40). The water supply unit (40) may be connected to an external water source so that water can be supplied from the outside, and may include a water supply hose that serves as a water flow path, a water supply valve for controlling the flow of water, etc.

One embodiment of the present invention may include a detergent supply unit (50). The detergent supply unit (50) may store detergent and may be provided to supply detergent into the tub (30) when detergent is required for performing a course for treating clothes.

In Fig. 2, a structure is illustrated in which a water supply unit (40) and a detergent supply unit (50) are connected, and water flowing along the water supply unit (40) is supplied into the tub (30) together with detergent via the detergent supply unit (50), but it is not necessarily limited to this, and the water supply unit (40) may be directly connected to the inside of the tub (30).

One embodiment of the present invention may include a drainage unit (60). The drainage unit (60) may be connected to the tub (30) and provided to discharge water existing inside the tub (30) to the outside of the cabinet (10). The drainage unit (60) may include a drainage hose through which water flows and a drainage pump that generates a flowing force of the water.

In one embodiment of the present invention, when a course for washing clothes is in progress, water and detergent can be supplied into the tub (30) through the water supply unit (40) and the detergent supply unit (50), and washing of clothes can be performed by the rotation of the drum (20) by the driving unit (70), and the water and detergent in the tub (30) can be discharged to the outside of the cabinet (10) through the drain unit (60) as needed.

However, the clothing treatment device (1) according to one embodiment of the present invention does not necessarily need to include a tub (30), and may be provided in a form in which the tub (30) is omitted, if necessary. That is, one embodiment of the present invention is not necessarily limited to a washing machine, and may also be a dryer from which the tub (30) is removed.

Meanwhile, FIG. 3 conceptually illustrates an information exchange method of a clothing treatment device (1) according to one embodiment of the present invention.

In one embodiment of the present invention, the clothing treatment device (1) may be provided to enable communication. The communication unit may be provided to enable various types of communication, such as Bluetooth or WIFI. However, the communication unit for communication may be omitted, if necessary.

In the case of having a communication unit, the garment treatment device (1) can communicate directly with the user's terminal (5) or communicate with a communication medium placed outside the garment treatment device (1), and when communicating with the communication medium, information can be exchanged with the server (4) through the communication medium.

The user's terminal (5) may be a variety of devices having a communication function. For example, the terminal (5) may be a variety of devices having a communication function, such as a mobile phone, a computer, or a tablet PC.

Meanwhile, Fig. 4 illustrates a clothing treatment device (1) in which a first treatment device (2) and a second treatment device (3) are stacked. Referring to Fig. 4, one embodiment of the present invention may include a second treatment device (3) installed on the first treatment device (2).

The first processing device (2) may include the cabinet (10) and drum (20) described above. The second processing device (3) may include a second cabinet (80) and a second drum (85) separately from the first processing device (2).

The first treatment device (2) and the second treatment device (3) can independently or in conjunction with each other perform a course for treating clothes. For example, the first treatment device (2) corresponds to a washing machine capable of washing clothes and can perform a course for washing clothes, and the second treatment device (3) corresponds to a dryer capable of drying clothes and can perform a course for drying clothes.

For example, the first treatment device (2) may include the aforementioned cabinet (10), drum (20), and tub (30) and may be arranged to perform a course for washing clothes, and the second treatment device (3) may include a second cabinet (80) arranged above the cabinet (10) and a second drum (85) rotatably provided inside the second cabinet (80) and may be arranged to perform a course for drying clothes. However, both the first treatment device (2) and the second treatment device (3) may correspond to a washing machine or a dryer.

Meanwhile, referring to FIG. 4, the clothing treatment device (1) may include a control panel (100) connected to the first treatment device (2) and the second treatment device (3). That is, when the clothing treatment device (1) includes a plurality of treatment devices, the control panel (100) may also be connected to each of the plurality of treatment devices to output information or receive commands for the plurality of treatment devices.

When the first processing device (2) and the second processing device (3) are provided in a laminated form, the control panel (100) may be provided in at least one of the first processing device (2) and the second processing device (3). In Fig. 4, the control panel (100) is shown positioned at the bottom of the second processing device (3) for easy user access to ensure ease of use.

Meanwhile, Fig. 5 illustrates a side view of a clothing treatment device (1) in which a first treatment device (2) and a second treatment device (3) are provided in a stacked configuration, as in Fig. 4. The clothing treatment device (1) may be provided with one drum (20) inside one cabinet (10), or the aforementioned drum (20) and second drum (85) may be provided together.

In addition, as illustrated in Fig. 5, the second treatment device (3) may include a second cabinet (80) that is distinct from the cabinet (10) of the first treatment device (2). In this case, the first treatment device (2) and the second treatment device (3) may be manufactured separately and assembled together in the use space of the clothing treatment device (1), or may be assembled together in advance during the production process.

However, the arrangement of the first treatment device (2) and the second treatment device (3) is not limited to being stacked in a direction perpendicular to the ground, and may be aligned with each other in a direction parallel to the ground or positioned spaced apart from each other.

Meanwhile, Fig. 6 is a conceptual diagram schematically showing the connection relationship of the control unit (90) in one embodiment of the present invention. The clothing treatment device (1) may include a control unit (90), and the control unit (90) may include at least one of a processing unit, a communication unit, and a storage unit.

The processing unit is provided to perform processing through information calculations, etc., the communication unit is provided to enable communication through various communication methods such as Bluetooth and WIFI, and the storage unit can be provided to store information.

When the clothing treatment device (1) includes a first treatment device (2) and a second treatment device (3), the control unit (90) can be connected to each of the first treatment device (2) and the second treatment device (3). In addition, the control unit (90) can be connected to the screen output unit (110) and control the screen output unit (110).

The control unit (90) may be provided in at least one of the first processing device (2), the second processing device (3), and the screen output unit (110). The control panel (100) may include the input unit (120) and output unit described above. The output unit may output various information such as auditory information and visual information to provide to the user.

For example, the output unit may include a speaker that outputs sound to provide information or a screen output unit (110) that outputs a screen, and the screen output unit (110) may include a display that outputs a screen on which an image is expressed.

The input unit (120) can generate an input signal according to the user's operation, and the input signal can be transmitted to the control unit (90) and converted into various command signals. The input unit (120) can include a button unit (125) having various buttons that generate input signals according to the user's operation, and the buttons can be provided in various types such as mechanical or touch-type.

In one embodiment of the present invention, the input unit (120) may include a power button, and when the first processing device (2) and the second processing device (3) are provided together, the power button may include a first power button for the first processing device (2) and a second power button for the second processing device (3).

In addition, when the clothing treatment device (1) includes a first treatment device (2) and a second treatment device (3), the input unit (120) may include a switching button (127). The switching button (127) may be used to switch the target of information displayed through the screen output unit (110) from the first treatment device (2) to the second treatment device (3), and from the second treatment device (3) to the first treatment device (2).

Accordingly, when a user touches an image or other display displayed on the screen output unit (110), a touch signal for the corresponding location can be transmitted to the control unit (90) by the touch input unit (123), and the control unit (90) can perform a control activity based on the touch signal.

Meanwhile, FIG. 8 conceptually illustrates the operation process of a clothing treatment device (1) according to one embodiment of the present invention and the screen of the screen output unit (110) according to it.

First, when power is supplied to the clothing treatment device (1) through the power button, a start process (P1) can be performed in which the normal status of various components is judged by the control unit (90) and preparations are made for performing the course, and the screen output unit (110) can output a start screen (C100) to inform the user of the start process (P1).

After the start process (P1) is completed, the control unit (90) can perform the course setting process (P2). The control unit (90) can store multiple courses for processing clothing in advance, and in the course setting process (P2), the user can select any one of the multiple courses.

In addition, in the course setting process (P2), various options for the course can be adjusted by the user. A detailed description of the options will be described later. The screen output unit (110) can output a course setting screen (C200) to provide information on course setting in the course setting process (P2).

When the above-mentioned execution button is operated in the course setting process (P2), the control unit (90) can perform the course progress process (P3) in which a course for processing clothing is performed. In the course progress process (P3), the control unit (90) can perform the course determined through the course setting process (P2), and the screen output unit (110) can output a course progress screen (C300) indicating the progress status of the corresponding course.

Meanwhile, Fig. 9 illustrates a start screen (C100) output from a screen output unit (110) according to one embodiment of the present invention. The start screen (C100) may include an image that notifies the user of power supply or may include general information for course execution.

The screen shown in Fig. 9 corresponds to the welcome screen (C110) that notifies the power supply of the clothing treatment device (1) among the start screens (C100). The welcome screen (C110) may be a screen that is initially output from the screen output unit (110) when the power supply of the clothing treatment device (1) is supplied. The welcome screen (C110) may include various phrases and images to create a sense of familiarity with the user or to notify the power supply.

Fig. 10 illustrates a course setting screen (C200). The course setting screen (C200) may display the name of the course currently selected among multiple courses, and may display option setting information for the corresponding course.

Specifically, the course setting screen (C200) may include a course name area (C201) in which the name of the course to be selected is displayed, and may include a course description text (C215) for explaining the course displayed in the course name area (C201) or a suggestion area (C210) in which content related to the suggestion content (C212) described below is displayed.

In addition, the course setting screen (C200) may include an indicator area (C203). The indicator area (C203) may display various indicators (C204) that indicate information about currently set options or status information.

Additionally, the course setting screen (C200) may include an option information area (C202) that indicates current option information for the course displayed in the course name area (C201). The option information area (C202) may display setting values for one or more options.

However, the course setting screen (C200) according to one embodiment of the present invention does not necessarily have to include all of the course name area (C201), suggestion area (C210), indicator area (C203), and option information area (C202), and the arrangement of each area may also vary as needed.

Meanwhile, Fig. 11 illustrates a course progress screen (C300). The course progress screen (C300) may define a course name area (C201) that displays the course in progress, a time guide area (C310) that indicates the remaining time until course completion, a status display area (C320) that indicates the current status of the course, a progress bar (C330) that displays the current course among the entire course in the form of an image, and the indicator area (C203) and option information area (C202) described above.

Meanwhile, FIG. 12 illustrates a conceptual diagram showing the concept of multiple courses and various options in one embodiment of the present invention.

In one embodiment of the present invention, a course corresponds to a process pre-stored in the control unit (90) to include at least one or more operations for processing clothing. A course may include at least one or more operations.

For example, a standard course for washing clothes may be preset in the control unit (90) to include at least one of a water supply cycle, a washing cycle, a rinsing cycle, a drain cycle, and a spin-drying cycle.

A plurality of different courses can be stored in advance in the control unit (90). In Fig. 12, a standard course, a strong course, a quiet course, etc. are shown, but the plurality of courses are not necessarily limited to these.

Meanwhile, the control unit (90) may be provided to adjust various options for the course. In one embodiment of the present invention, the options may be divided into adjustable options, simple additional options, and adjustable additional options.

The adjustable option may not be determined by the user for application to the course, but may be maintained in a state predetermined by the control unit (90). In other words, the adjustable option may be determined in advance by the control unit (90) for each course, and the user may change the setting value of the adjustable option activated in the corresponding course.

For example, the plurality of courses include a rinsing course including a water supply course, a rinsing course, and a drain course, and in the control unit (90), options such as a rinsing number of times option or a quantity option for the rinsing course are activated as adjustable options, and options such as a washing intensity option can be determined in advance to be inactive.

Accordingly, when the rinse course is displayed on the course setting screen (C200), the user can only change the settings of the rinse cycle option activated as an adjustable option, and cannot change the washing intensity option to an activated state. These adjustable options can be determined based on the cycles included in the course.

Meanwhile, in one embodiment of the present invention, the user-adjustable option may include multiple option values. For example, the aforementioned rinsing count option includes option values such as 1 time, 2 times, and 3 times, and any one option value selected by the user may be reflected in the control unit (90) as the setting value of the corresponding option.

That is, if a user selects the option value '2 times' among the options for the number of rinses in the rinse course, the option value '2 times' becomes the setting value of the number of rinses option and can be reflected in the relevant course.

Meanwhile, one embodiment of the present invention may include a simple additional option. A simple additional option means an option in which only the application to the corresponding course can be determined by the user, and no separate setting value is adjusted.

For example, the standard course for washing clothes is set to the steam option, which sprays steam, as a default, but the user can change the steam option to the applied state and reflect it in the course as needed.

The control unit (90) may preset simple additional options whose application to each of a plurality of courses can be changed by the user. For example, in the above-described standard course, the steam option corresponds to a simple additional option whose application to each course can be changed by the user.

However, in the case of a steam course where the steam option is set to the application state as mandatory, the steam option may be preset in the control unit (90) so that the user cannot change whether or not to apply it, and therefore the steam option for the steam course does not correspond to a simple additional option.

Meanwhile, one embodiment of the present invention includes an additional control option. The additional control option means an option that can be determined by a user whether to be applied to a corresponding course, and furthermore, when applying the option, one of a plurality of option values for the corresponding option must be selected as a setting value.

For example, one embodiment of the present invention may include a reservation option as an additional control option. The user may select whether to apply the reservation option to a standard course for washing, and when applying the reservation option, one of multiple option values for the reservation option, such as after 30 minutes, after 1 hour, after 1 hour and 30 minutes, is determined as a set value.

Meanwhile, Fig. 13 illustrates a scene where a suggestion content (C212) is displayed in a suggestion area (C210) of a course setting screen (C200) according to one embodiment of the present invention. One embodiment of the present invention can suggest settings of various options to a user through the suggestion area (C210) of the course setting screen (C200).

Specifically, in Fig. 13(a), a description of a course indicated in a course name area (C201) is displayed in a suggestion area (C210), and in Fig. 13(b), suggestion content (C212) suggesting application of an option not currently applied to the course is displayed in the suggestion area (C210).

In one embodiment of the present invention, if there is a suggestion content (C212) to be suggested to the user, the control unit (90) can control the screen output unit (110) so that the suggestion content (C212) is displayed in the suggestion area (C210).

A plurality of suggestion contents (C212) can be stored in advance in the control unit (90), and the control unit (90) can control the screen output unit (110) to output any one of the plurality of suggestion contents (C212) to the suggestion area (C210) as needed.

The control unit (90) can select the suggestion content (C212) to be displayed in the suggestion area (C210) according to the suggestion conditions described later. For example, each of the plurality of suggestion contents (C212) can have suggestion conditions for being suggested to the user.

The control unit (90) can control the screen output unit (110) to display the proposed content (C212) that satisfies the proposed conditions in the proposal area (C210). If there is no proposed content (C212) that satisfies the proposed conditions, a course description text (C215) describing the course displayed in the course name area (C201) can be displayed in the proposal area (C210) instead of the proposed content (C212).

The proposed content (C212) may include content for changing an option, applying an additional option, or changing a course. For example, one of the plurality of proposed contents (C212) may suggest to the user to change the setting value of an option, another may suggest to the user to apply an option that is not applied to the course, and another may suggest to the user to change the course displayed in the course name area (C201) to another course.

In Fig. 13(b), the steam option is displayed in the suggestion area (C210). That is, the suggestion area (C210) of Fig. 13(b) displays suggestion content (C212) suggesting to the user to apply the steam option to the current course.

A user can select a suggestion area (C210) by manipulating an input unit (120) such as a touch input unit (123), and when the control unit (90) determines that the suggestion area (C210) has been selected based on an input signal generated from the input unit (120), it can change or add an option or change a course based on the contents of the suggestion content (C212) displayed in the suggestion area (C210).

For example, when the user selects the suggestion area (C210) while the content suggesting application of the steam option is displayed in the suggestion area (C210) as shown in Fig. 13(b), the control unit (90) can set the steam option to be applied to the current course according to the content of the suggestion area (C210).

When the steam option is applied, an indicator (C204) indicating the steam option in the indicator area (C203) may be activated. In one embodiment of the present invention, one of the plurality of suggested contents (C212) may be a simple additional option that does not require a setting value to be determined, such as the steam option, and may simply be proposed to the user as an option for which application of the option can be determined.

The suggested content (C212) is intended to suggest to the user a course setting for clothing processing, and may be displayed to guide the user to a more advantageous course setting based on various conditions and environments.

One embodiment of the present invention can suggest more effective and convenient settings for handling clothes to the user through the suggestion area (C210), and the user can perform course setting according to the suggestion through the suggestion area (C210) even without completely reviewing various courses and various options, so that the convenience of use can be greatly improved.

Meanwhile, FIG. 14 illustrates a proposal area (C210) that suggests additional application of options according to one embodiment of the present invention.

Referring to Fig. 14, in one embodiment of the present invention, the proposed content (C212) can suggest settings for additional control options to the user. Additional control options are options that require not only whether to apply the option but also a decision on the setting value for the option.

The suggestion area (C210) of Fig. 14 displays suggestion content (C212) that proposes setting of a reservation option as one of the above-mentioned additional control options. The reservation option requires selection of not only whether to apply the option but also the waiting time from the present to the time when the course is performed.

The above waiting time can be provided to the user as multiple option values. For example, the reservation option can have multiple option values such as '3 hours later', '4 hours later', etc., and the user can select any one of the multiple option values representing the waiting time as a setting value.

When a suggestion area (C210) displaying content suggesting reservation options is selected by a user, the control unit (90) can control the screen output unit (110) to output an option setting screen displaying multiple option values for the reservation option.

That is, in one embodiment of the present invention, the screen output unit (110) can output a course setting screen (C200) that includes the course name area (C201) and the suggestion area (C210) and can set the course displayed in the course name area (C201).

The above course setting screen (C200) may further include an option information area (C202) in which at least some of the setting values of a plurality of adjustable options in the course displayed in the course name area (C201) are displayed.

However, if the setting of an option is proposed in the proposal area (C210), the option may not necessarily be included in the option information area (C202). The reservation option is basically an option that corresponds to a non-applied state, and unlike an adjustable option whose application to the course is not determined, it may not be displayed in the option information area (C202).

However, an indicator (C204) indicating a reservation option can be activated in the indicator area (C203) to notify the user that the option has been applied normally.

In addition, a suggestion indicator (C214) indicating an option or course that is the target of the suggestion may be displayed in the suggestion area (C210), and a change in the image of the suggestion indicator (C214) may inform the user that the setting of the option or course according to the selection in the suggestion area (C210) has been normally performed.

Meanwhile, FIG. 15 illustrates a process in which a suggestion area (C210) proposing a change in a course is selected and the course is changed according to one embodiment of the present invention.

Fig. 15(a) illustrates a screen in which a suggestion area (C210) is displayed, suggesting one of multiple courses, and Fig. 15(b) illustrates a course setting screen (C200) in which the suggestion area (C210) is selected and a course suggested in the suggestion area (C210) is displayed.

Referring to FIG. 15, the process of proposing a change of course according to one embodiment of the present invention is specifically described as follows.

First, a clothing treatment device (1) according to one embodiment of the present invention may include the cabinet (10), drum (20), and screen output unit (110) described above. The drum (20) is provided inside the cabinet (10), and clothes can be accommodated inside. The screen output unit (110) is provided in the cabinet (10) and can output a screen.

The above screen output section (110) can output a screen including a course name area (C201) in which the name of the course for processing clothing is displayed and a suggestion area (C210) in which a suggested course different from the course currently displayed in the course name area (C201) is presented.

For example, the screen output unit (110) can output a course setting screen (C200) for selecting a course and setting options, and a course name area (C201) and a suggestion area (C210) can be defined in the course setting screen (C200).

A plurality of courses for processing clothing can be stored in advance in the control unit (90). One of the plurality of courses can be displayed in the course name area (C201) of the course setting screen (C200), and the course displayed in the course name area (C201) can be performed by operating the execution button.

A proposed course may be displayed in the proposal area (C210). The proposed course may be displayed in its entirety in the proposal area (C210), in part of its name, or in place of its name, with various images or words that can inform the user of the proposed course.

When the content suggesting a change of course is displayed in the suggestion area (C210), the suggested course displayed in the suggestion area (C210) may be different from the course currently displayed in the course name area (C201). That is, in one embodiment of the present invention, the control unit (90) may display a suggested course different from the course displayed in the course name area (C201) of the current course setting screen (C200) in the suggestion area (C210).

The above suggested course may be one of multiple courses pre-stored in the control unit (90). In addition, the above suggested course may correspond to a user-defined course in which the setting values of various options are pre-set by the user and stored in the control unit (90).

In one embodiment of the present invention, when the proposal area (C210) is selected, the name of the proposed course can be displayed in the course name area (C201). That is, when the proposal area (C210) is selected, the course scheduled to be performed can be changed to the proposed course by being displayed in the course setting screen (C200).

As an example for explanation, Fig. 15(a) illustrates a case where a 'standard washing' course among multiple courses is displayed as a course to be performed in the course name area (C201). In addition, in the suggestion area (C210), a 'quiet' course, which is different from the standard washing course among multiple courses, is displayed as a suggested course in the suggestion area (C210).

Fig. 15(b) shows the screen of the screen output section (110) in a state where the suggestion area (C210) of Fig. 15(a) is selected by the user. Fig. 15(b) shows the suggestion course displayed in the course name area (C201).

When a suggestion area (C210) in which a suggested course is displayed by a user is selected, the suggested course can be displayed in the course name area (C201) of the course setting screen (C200). That is, when the suggestion area (C210) is selected, the course to be performed displayed in the course name area (C201) of the course setting screen (C200) can be changed to the suggested course of the suggestion area (C210).

As described above, one embodiment of the present invention can provide various courses for processing clothing, and can conveniently suggest to the user a course that is advantageous to the user in the current environment as a suggested course through the suggestion area (C210), and can easily change the course.

That is, in one embodiment of the present invention, a plurality of courses are provided, and a course that is necessary or advantageous to the user among the plurality of courses can be effectively notified to the user, thereby improving usability, and the process of sequentially moving through the plurality of courses and reaching a specific course can be omitted, and the suggested course of the suggestion area (C210) can be directly displayed on the course setting screen (C200), thereby improving operational convenience.

Meanwhile, when the proposed course is displayed in the course name area (C201), the name of the proposed course may disappear from the proposal area (C210). In addition, when the name of the proposed course is displayed in the course name area (C201), a description of the proposed course may be displayed in the proposal area (C210).

Figure 15(b) illustrates that the proposed area (C210) is selected and the proposed course is displayed in the course name area (C201), while the display of the proposed course disappears from the proposed area (C210).

In one embodiment of the present invention, once the course suggestion is reflected, there is no longer a need to suggest a suggested course, and thus the suggested course may no longer be displayed in the suggestion area (C210).

In addition, the suggestion area (C210) where the suggestion course has disappeared may display a course description text (C215) to describe the course displayed in the course name area (C201). That is, when the suggestion area (C210) is selected and the suggestion course is displayed in the course name area (C201) of the course setting screen (C200), the course description text (C215) for the suggested course may be displayed in the suggestion area (C210).

Meanwhile, in one embodiment of the present invention, the screen output unit (110) can display suggestion content (C212) including the name of the suggestion course or a phrase suggesting the suggestion course in the suggestion area (C210).

That is, the proposed content (C212) may mean an object displayed in the proposed area (C210) to suggest the setting of the proposed course, and the proposed content (C212) may include the name of the proposed course or a phrase for suggesting the proposed course.

In the above suggestion area (C210), a suggestion indicator (C214) indicating the above suggestion course and a suggestion phrase (C213) for suggesting the above suggestion course can be displayed. That is, the suggestion content (C212) can be configured to include the above suggestion indicator (C214) and the suggestion phrase (C213).

The proposal indicator (C214) may be an entity representing a proposal course. The proposal indicator (C214) may include at least a portion of the name of the proposal course. In addition, the proposal indicator (C214) may include an image for representing the proposal course.

The proposal text (C213) can provide information to inform the user of the reason or advantage of the proposed course. The user can identify the advantage or necessity of the proposed course and consider applying it through the proposal text (C213) displayed in the proposal area (C210).

The above suggestion indicator (C214) can be defined to include at least a part of the suggestion phrase (C213) in the suggestion area (C210). That is, the words included in the suggestion indicator (C214) can form one sentence together with the suggestion phrase (C213).

As described above, the proposal indicator (C214) may include words for indicating the proposal course, such as the name of the proposal course, and the proposal phrase (C213) may form a single sentence including the words of the proposal indicator (C214).

The position of the suggestion indicator (C214) may vary with respect to the suggestion phrase (C213). That is, the position of the word included in the suggestion indicator (C214) in the suggestion phrase (C213) may vary.

For example, in Fig. 15(a), a suggestion indicator (C214) including the word 'quiet quiet' is displayed to indicate a 'quiet quiet' course among multiple courses, and the suggestion text (C213) depicts the word 'quiet quiet' positioned in the middle of a sentence.

The above suggestion indicator (C214) may include a border that separates at least a part of the suggestion text (C213) from the rest. Accordingly, the user can easily identify the suggestion indicator (C214) in the suggestion area (C210) and more conveniently check which suggestion course is the target of the suggestion.

The shape of the border may vary. In Fig. 15(a), a square-shaped border is illustrated according to one embodiment of the present invention, but is not necessarily limited thereto and may have various shapes such as a circle, a triangle, or a shape that can represent a proposed course.

Meanwhile, the screen output unit (110) can display the proposed course in the proposal area (C210) when the proposal conditions for the proposed course are met. That is, the control unit (90) can control the screen output unit (110) so that the proposed course is displayed in the proposal area (C210) when the proposal conditions are met.

The proposal conditions may vary and may be set differently depending on the proposed course. The proposal conditions may be conditions for determining whether the proposed course corresponds to an environment in which it may have an advantage in execution.

For example, in one embodiment of the present invention, one of the multiple courses pre-stored in the control unit (90) may be a 'strong washing' course in which the washing intensity is set strong, and the suggestion content (C212) for suggesting the strong washing course may satisfy the suggestion condition when the amount of laundry accommodated in the drum (20) is greater than the standard amount.

In addition, the proposal conditions may be set based on time. That is, the proposal content (C212) that provides the proposal course to the user may be displayed in the proposal area (C210) when the proposal conditions are met within a specific time range on the screen output unit (110).

The specific time range can be set in various ways. For example, the proposal condition corresponding to the output condition of the proposal content (C212) may be satisfied within a period including a specific day based on one year, the proposal condition may be satisfied within a period including a specific day based on one week, or the proposal condition may be satisfied within a period including a specific time based on one day.

In Fig. 15(a), a quiet course is displayed as a suggested course in the suggested area (C210) according to one embodiment of the present invention. The quiet course may have a lower maximum rotation RPM of the drum (20) compared to the 'standard washing' course displayed in the course name area (C201) of the course setting screen (C200).

That is, the proposed course suggested by the proposed content (C212) can be set so that the processing of clothing is performed at a lower drum (20) RPM range than the course displayed in the course name area (C201) of the course setting screen (C200), thereby reducing noise or vibration generated during course execution.

The suggestion conditions for the above suggested course can be satisfied in a specific time range that repeats in a one-day cycle. For example, in the case of suggesting a suggested course that is advantageous for reducing noise or vibration, such as a quiet course, the suggestion conditions can be satisfied and suggested to the user in a time range where noise, etc. can be particularly unpleasant, such as from 23:00 to 24:00, which is usually the time when people are sleeping or the time when the surroundings are cleaned up before sleeping.

As described above, one embodiment of the present invention can provide a user with a suggested course in which clothing is processed at a low drum (20) RPM for reducing vibration and noise, and in particular, since the suggested course satisfies the suggested conditions in a time range sensitive to vibration and noise and is displayed in the suggested area (C210), the usability of multiple courses can be effectively improved.

Meanwhile, in one embodiment of the present invention, the proposed content (C212) may be prepared in multiple pieces with different proposal conditions. That is, the proposed content (C212) may be stored in advance in the control unit (90) in multiple pieces with different option settings or proposal courses.

Each proposed content (C212) may have its own proposal conditions. As described above, the proposal conditions may be preset in the control unit (90) based on the characteristics of each proposed content (C212).

If there are multiple proposal contents (C212) that satisfy each proposal condition among multiple proposal contents (C212), one with a higher priority can be displayed in the proposal area (C210).

The method of determining priorities may vary. For example, among multiple proposed contents (C212), a proposed content (C212) that proposes a change in course may have a higher priority than a proposed content (C212) that relates to a change in option.

A course has various options set, and therefore, a change in the course may be proposed with priority over a change in the options, as multiple changes in options may occur.

In addition, the proposed content (C212) for course change may disappear from the proposed area (C210) by selection of the proposed area (C210), and therefore, it may be advantageous for other proposed content (C212) to be additionally proposed after the proposed content (C212) for course change.

In addition, proposal contents (C212) whose proposal conditions are set as periods may have higher priorities as the time range of the proposal conditions has a shorter cycle. For example, proposal contents (C212) whose proposal conditions have a time range set as a one-day cycle may have higher priorities than those whose proposal conditions have a time range set as a one-week cycle.

However, the determination of priorities is not necessarily limited to the above, and priorities can be determined through various criteria as needed.

Meanwhile, one embodiment of the present invention may include a touch input unit (123) as described above. That is, in one embodiment of the present invention, the screen output unit (110) may be provided to detect a user's touch signal to the screen.

In addition, in one embodiment of the present invention, when the touch signal is generated in at least a part of the suggestion area (C210), the suggestion course can be displayed in the course name area (C201). When the touch signal is generated in the suggestion area (C210), the control unit (90) can determine that the user has selected the suggestion area (C210).

The detection area of the touch signal corresponding to the selection of the suggestion area (C210) can be determined in various ways. For example, the control unit (90) can determine that the suggestion area (C210) is selected when a touch signal for the entire suggestion area (C210) or a touch signal for a part of the suggestion area (C210), for example, a suggestion indicator (C214) displayed in the suggestion area (C210) is detected.

Meanwhile, in one embodiment of the present invention, the order in which multiple courses are displayed on the course setting screen (C200) can be determined in advance. That is, the display order for multiple courses can be stored in advance in the control unit (90).

The course setting screen (C200) may display any one of a plurality of courses. In one embodiment of the present invention, only one course is displayed on the course setting screen (C200), so that the limited output area can be used efficiently.

The course displayed on the course setting screen (C200) corresponds to a course scheduled to be performed for processing clothing, and when the execution button is operated while the course setting screen (C200) is output on the screen output section (110), the course displayed in the course name area (C201) of the course setting screen (C200) can be performed.

Meanwhile, the screen output unit (110) can display the plurality of courses in order in the course name area (C201) when the touch signal occurs in a sliding manner on the screen.

The sliding method refers to a method in which a user maintains a state of touching the screen and moves the touched location. For example, a user can generate a touch signal of the sliding method by touching a point on the screen of a screen output unit (110) having a touch input unit (123) with a finger and moving the finger in one direction.

When a sliding touch signal is detected on the course setting screen (C200), the control unit (90) can change the course of the course setting screen (C200) to the next course in order. The sliding direction can vary. For example, the user can change the course in order by generating a sliding touch signal in a horizontal direction on the screen.

Meanwhile, Fig. 16 illustrates a scene in which the proposed course displayed in the proposed area (C210) returns to the course setting screen (C200) in which the course before the application of the proposed course is displayed in the course name area (C201).

In one embodiment of the present invention, when the suggestion area (C210) is selected and the suggestion course is displayed in the course name area (C201), if the touch signal is generated in the sliding manner, the screen output unit (110) can display the course corresponding to the first priority among the plurality of courses in the course name area (C201).

Specifically, Fig. 16(a) illustrates a course setting screen (C200) in which a suggested course is displayed in a course name area (C201) by selecting a suggested area (C210). When an input signal for sequentially changing courses is generated through the input unit (120) in the course setting screen (C200) in which a suggested course is displayed as in Fig. 16(a), a course setting screen (C200) in which a course corresponding to the first priority among multiple courses is displayed can be output as in Fig. 16(b).

In Fig. 16(a), a sliding touch signal is indicated by a dotted arrow. The sliding touch signal can be input by a user to change the course of the course setting screen (C200) to the previous or next course.

When a user commands a change of course while a suggested course is applied, it can be understood that the user's intention to not use the suggested course is reflected, and therefore, the control unit (90) can provide the user with a course setting screen (C200) that displays the first priority course displayed on the course setting screen (C200) when no course is suggested.

Fig. 16(b) illustrates a course setting screen (C200) in which a 'standard washing' course corresponding to the first priority is displayed as an example of the present invention. The course corresponding to the first priority in the display order is a course in which various option settings are set in a basic and standard manner, and may be the course that is generally easiest for a user to select.

Accordingly, in one embodiment of the present invention, when a touch signal for changing a course is generated while a suggested course is displayed in the course name area (C201), the control unit (90) displays the course in the first display order regardless of the display order of the suggested courses, thereby ensuring convenience for the user in selecting a course.

Meanwhile, in one embodiment of the present invention, the input unit (120) may include a configuration other than the touch input unit (123) as described above. That is, the suggestion area (C210) may be selected based on an input signal generated from the input unit (120) even if it is not the touch input unit (123).

For example, the input unit (120) may include a button unit (125), and the button unit (125) may be provided in the cabinet (10) and may be operated by a user to generate an input signal. The suggestion area (C210) may be selected according to the input signal generated by the button unit (125).

In one embodiment of the present invention, the screen output unit (110) outputs a screen in which the name of one of a plurality of courses for processing clothing and a proposed course different from one of the courses are displayed, and when the proposed course is selected, the name of one of the courses may be changed to the name of the proposed course and displayed.

That is, one embodiment of the present invention can provide a variety of clothing treatments to a user by providing multiple courses, and a suggested course can be suggested and set to the user with a simple selection on a course setting screen (C200) where course selection and option setting are performed, and convenience of operation can be improved since a course can be changed without switching to a screen other than the course setting screen (C200).

Meanwhile, Fig. 17 illustrates a flow chart showing a control method of a clothing treatment device (1) according to one embodiment of the present invention. Hereinafter, the control method of the clothing treatment device (1) will be described with reference to Fig. 17, and any duplicate description of the contents already described for the clothing treatment device (1) will be omitted as much as possible.

A control method of a clothing treatment device (1) according to one embodiment of the present invention may include a course setting step (S100), a proposal step (S200), and a proposal application step (S400).

In the course setting step (S100), a course setting screen (C200) in which the name of one of multiple courses for processing clothing is displayed in the course name area (C201) can be output through the screen output section (110).

Multiple courses may have a display order preset in the control unit (90), and one course may be output on the course setting screen (C200) according to the display order.

In the proposal stage (S200), a proposed course different from any one of the courses displayed on the course setting screen (C200) can be displayed in the proposal area (C210) of the course setting screen (C200). The control unit (90) can control the screen output unit (110) so that the proposed course is displayed in the proposal area (C210).

In the proposal application step (S400), if the proposal area (C210) is selected, the name of the proposed course may be displayed instead of one of the above in the course name area (C201). That is, in the proposal application step (S400), the course displayed in the course name area (C201) may be changed to the proposed course.

In the above suggestion step (S200), the screen output unit (110) can display suggestion content (C212) including the name of the suggestion course or a phrase suggesting the suggestion course in the suggestion area (C210).

In addition, one embodiment of the present invention may include a proposal condition determination step (S210) in which the control unit (90) determines whether the proposal content (C212) satisfies the proposal condition for display in the proposal area (C210).

In the above control unit (90), the above suggestion contents (C212) are stored as multiple pieces, each with its own suggestion condition, and in the suggestion condition determination step (S210), the above control unit (90) can determine whether each of the multiple suggestion contents (C212) satisfies the suggestion condition.

The above proposal step (S200) may further include a proposal display step (S220). In the proposal display step (S220), if the proposal condition determination step (S210) determines that the proposal content (C212) satisfies the proposal condition, the control unit (90) may control the screen output unit (110) so that the proposal content (C212) is displayed in the proposal area (C210).

In the above suggestion application step (S400), if the suggested course is displayed in the course name area (C201), the name of the suggested course may disappear from the suggestion area (C210). If the suggested course is displayed in the course name area (C201), a description of the suggested course may be displayed instead of the name of the suggested course in the suggestion area (C210).
