Claims (11)
- 이동통신 시스템에서, 단말의 패킷 데이터 서비스를 위한 전송률을 제어하는 방법에 있어서,패킷 데이터 서비스를 위해 요구 전송률을 나타내는 최대 전송률 정보를 포함하는 무선 엑세스 베어러 할당 요청 메시지를 수신하는 과정과,상기 요구 전송률로 상기 패킷 데이터 서비스를 위한 초기 전송률을 설정하는 과정과,상기 패킷 데이터 서비스를 위한 자원을 확인하여 상기 초기 전송률로 결정 가능한지 판단하는 과정과,상기 판단결과 초기 전송률로 결정 가능하지 않으면, 상기 초기 전송률이 미리 설정되어 있는 복수단계의 전송률들 중 최하위 단계의 전송률에 도달하였는지를 판단하는 과정과,상기 최하위 단계의 전송률에 도달하였으면, 상기 패킷 데이터 서비스를 위해 공통채널 상태의 무선 엑세스 베어러를 설정하는 과정과,상기 초기 전송률로 결정 가능하면, 상기 초기 전송률에 따라 상기 패킷 데이터 서비스를 수행하기 위한 전용 채널 상태의 무선 엑세스 베어러를 설정하는 과정을 더 포함하여 구성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 전송률 제어방법.
- 제 1항에 있어서,상기 초기 전송률이 상기 최하위 단계의 전송률에 도달하지 않았으면, 상기 초기 전송률을 한 단계 감소시키고 상기 자원을 확인하는 과정으로 복귀하는 과정을 더 포함하여 구성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 전송률 제어방법.
- 제 1항에 있어서, 상기 자원은 상기 요구된 전송률로 패킷 데이터 서비스를 전송하기 위한 전력과, 할당할 코드 및 무선 엑세스 네트워크와 코어 네트워크의 링크 자원의 여유분인 것을 특징으로 하는 전송률 제어방법.
- 제 1항에 있어서, 상기 공통 채널은 세컨더리 공통제어 물리채널(S_CCPCH)에 매핑되는 순방향 엑세스 채널(FACH)임을 특징으로 하는 전송률 제어방법.
- 제 1항에 있어서, 상기 복수 단계의 전송률들은 32Kbps, 64Kbps, 128Kbps, 144Kbps, 256Kbps, 384Kbps인 것을 특징으로 하는 전송률 제어방법.
