Claims (12)
- 유체 재료를 수용하는 4개 이상의 저장조(12A, 16A, 18A, 20A)에 유체 연통되는 집적 채널(24A)를 갖춘 몸체 및 상기 4개 이상의 저장조에 전기 전위를 인가하는 시스템을 포함하며, 상기 채널이 제 1 채널(26A), 제 2 채널(32A), 제 3 채널(30A) 및 분리 채널(34A)과의 교점(40A)을 형성하며,상기 제 1 채널을 통해서 제 1 저장조(12A)가 상기 교점(40A)과 유체 연통되며, 상기 제 2 채널을 통해서 상기 교점이 제 1 폐 저장조(18A)와 유체 연통되며, 상기 제 3 채널을 통해서 제 2 저장조(16A)가 상기 교점과 유체 연통되며, 상기 분리 채널(34A)을 통해서 상기 교점이 제 2 폐 저장조(20A)와 유체 연통되는 마이크로칩 실험 시스템에 유체 재료인 유체 샘플의 분배 방법으로서,( i ) 상기 유체 재료가 상기 제 2 저장조(16A)로부터 제 1 및 제 2 폐 저장조로 흐르고, 그리고 상기 제 1 저장조(12A)로부터 상기 제 1 폐 저장조(18A)로 흘러서 상기 제 1 저장조(12A)로부터의 재료를 상기 교점에 제공하도록, 상기 제 1 및 제 2 저장조(12A, 16A)와 상기 제 1 및 제 2 폐 저장조(18A, 20A)에 전위를 인가하는 단계와,(ⅱ) 상기 제 1 저장조(12A)에서 출발한 유체 재료 샘플을 상기 교점으로부터 상기 분리 채널(34A)로의 전환을 시작하도록 적어도 상기 제 1 저장조(12A)와 제 2 폐 저장조(20A)에 전위를 인가하는 단계, 및(iii) 상기 전환을 종료하고 상기 분리 채널을 통해 샘플을 이동시키도록 상기 (i) 단계의 전위를 재인가하는 단계를 포함하는 유체 샘플의 분배 방법.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 (i) 단계는 상기 유체 재료가 상기 제 2 저장조(16A)로부터 상기 제 1 및 제 2 폐 저장조(18A, 20A)로 흐르고, 그리고 상기 제 1 저장조(12A)로부터 제 1 폐 저장조(18A)로 흘러서 상기 제 1 저장조(12A)로부터의 재료를 상기 교점(40A)에 제공하도록, 상기 제 2 저장조(16A)에 제 1 전위를, 상기 제 1 저장조(12A) 및 상기 제 1 폐 저장조(18A)에 보다 낮은 전위를, 상기 제 2 폐 저장조(20A)에 훨씬 더 낮은 전위를 인가하는 단계를 더 포함하는 유체 샘플의 분배 방법.
- 제 2 항에 있어서, 상기 (ii) 단계는 상기 제 1 저장조(12A)에서 출발한 유체 재료 샘플을 상기 교점(40A)으로부터 상기 분리 채널(34A)로의 전환을 시작하도록 상기 제 2 폐 저장조(20A)에 인가된 전위에 비해 높은 전위를 상기 제 1 저장조(12A)에 인가하는 단계를 더 포함하며, 상기 다른 저장조에 인가된 전위들은 제 1 저장조(12A)에 인가된 전위보다 낮은 유체 샘플의 분배 방법.
- 분리 채널(34E)과 유체 연통된 추가의 저장조(22E)를 더 포함하는 시스템 내에서 수행되는 제 1 항 내지 제 3 항 중 어느 한 항에 따른 유체 샘플의 분배 방법으로서,(iv) 상기 샘플을 분석하는데 상기 분리 채널을 사용하는 단계, 및(v) 분석된 샘플의 적어도 일부분이 상기 저장조(22E)에 저장된 반응물과 상기 분리 채널(34E) 내에서 반응하도록 상기 저장조(22E)에 전위를 인가하는 단계를 더 포함하는 유체 샘플의 분리 방법.
- 교점(40E)과 유체 연통된 추가의 저장조(14E)를 더 포함하며, 상기 추가의 저장조와 제 1 저장조(14E, 12F)가 시약을 수용하고 상기 시약이 상기 교점과 상기 제 1 저장조(14E) 및 상기 추가의 저장조(14F) 사이의 반응실(42F) 내에서 상기 교점(40F)의 상류에 있는 시스템에서 반응하는 제 1 항 내지 제 3 항 중 어느 한 항에 따른 유제 샘플의 분리 방법으로서,(a) 유체 재료가 제 2 저장조(16F)로부터 제 1 및 제 2 폐 저장조(18,F,20F)로 흐르고 시약이 상기 제 1 및 추가의 저장조(12F, 14F)로부터 제 1 폐 저장조(18F)로 흘러서 시약을 상기 교점(40F)에 제공하도록, 상기 제 2 저장조(16F), 추가의 저장조(14F) 및 제 1 저장조(12F), 그리고 상기 제 1 폐 저장조 및 제 2 폐 저장조(20F)에 전위를 인가하는 단계와,(b) 상기 교점으로부터 분리채널(34F)로의 시약 샘플의 전환을 시작하도록 상기 제 1 저장조(12F) 및 상기 추가의 저장조(14F)와 상기 제 1 폐 저장조(18F) 및 다른 저장조에 전위를 인가하는 단계, 및(c) 상기 샘플의 전환을 종결하고 샘플을 상기 분리 채널(34F)을 통해 이동시키도록 (a) 단게의 전위를 재인가하는 단계를 포함하는 유체 샘플의 분리 방법.
- 마이크로칩 실험 시스템으로서,유체 재료를 수용하는 4개 이상의 저장조(12A, 16A, 18A, 20A)에 유체 연통되는 집적 채널(24A)를 갖춘 몸체 및 상기 4개 이상의 저장조에 전기 전위를 인가하는 시스템을 포함하며,상기 채널이 제 1 채널(26A), 제 2 채널(32A), 제 3 채널(30A) 및 분리 채널(34A)과의 교점(40A)을 형성하며,상기 제 1 채널(26A)을 통해서 제 1 저장조(12A)가 상기 교점(40A)과 유체 연통되며, 상기 제 2 채널(32A)을 통해서 상기 교점이 제 1 폐 저장조(18A)와 유체 연통되며, 상기 제 3 채널(30A)을 통해서 제 2 저장조(16A)가 상기 교점(40A)과 유체 연통되며, 상기 분리 채널(34A)을 통해서 상기 교점이 제 2 폐 저장조(20A)와 유체 연통되며,상기 전기 전위 인가 시스템이 제 1 항 내지 제 3 항 중 어느 한 항에 따른 방법에 따라 작동되도록 구성되는 마이크로칩 실험 시스템.
- 제 6 항에 있어서, 상기 분리 채널(34E)과 유체 연통되는 추가의 저장조(22E)를 포함하며, 상기 전기 전위 인가 시스템이 제 4 항에 따라 작동하도록 구성되는 마이크크칩 실험 시스템.
- 제 6 항에 있어서, 상기 교점과 유체 연통되는 추가의 저장조(14F)와 반응실(42F), 교점과 제 1 저장조(12F) 및 추가의 저장조(14F)를 포함하며, 상기전기 전위 인가 시스템이 제 5 항에 따라 작동하도록 구성되는 마이크로칩 실험 시스템.
- 마이크로칩 실험 시스템으로서,유체 재료를 수용하는 4개 이상의 저장조(12, 14, 16, 18, 20)에 유체 연통되는 집적 채널(24)를 갖춘 몸체 및 상기 5개 이상의 저장조에 전기 전위를 인가하는 시스템을 포함하며,상기 채널이 제 1 채널(30), 제 2 채널(32), 및 분리 채널(34)과의 교점(40)을 형성하며,상기 제 1 채널(30)을 통해서 제 1 저장조(16)가 상기 교점과 유체 연통되며, 상기 제 2 채널(32)을 통해서 상기 교점이 제 1 폐 저장조(18)와 유체 연통되며, 상기 분리 채널(34)을 통해서 상기 교점이 제 2 폐 저장조(20)와 유체 연통되며,상기 반응실이 채널(26, 28)을 통해서 시약을 수용하고 있는 제 2 저장조(12) 및 추가의 저장조(14)와 유체 연통되는 마이크로칩 실험 시스템.

- 제 11 항에 있어서, 상기 (b) 단계는 상기 제 2 폐 저장조에 인가된 전위에 비해 높은 전위를 상기 제 1 저장조에 인가하는 단계와, 유체 샘플이 상기 제 1 교점으로부터 분리 채널로 전환되도록 다른 저장조에 보다 낮은 전위를 인가하는 단계를 포함하는 유체 샘플의 분배 방법.
