Abstract
PURPOSE: To reduce a necessary time for programming remarkably by a method wherein fittings of a work are effected instantaneously by throwing-in and releasing of magnetic force caused by switching ON and OFF of a magnetic switch.
CONSTITUTION: A tip end 14 of a block 12 for initial short positioning is inserted temporalily into a groove A on which a rough working is finished and the block 12 is put on one side upper surface 6a, thereby, a position of a groove B of a work 3 positioned at a distance of 90° from the standard groove A is indexed accurately in a direction of a tool. Subsequently, a magnetic switch 21 is switched ON to attract and secure the work 3 and the block 12 onto a V-groove surface 4 and the one side upper surface 6a by throwing in a magnetic force, thereafter a precise finishing for the groove B indexed at a working position is effected. After the working for the groove B is finished, the magnetic switch 21 is switched OFF and the block 12 is removed. Next, the work 3 is rotated under contacting a flange 22 with a stopper device 11 and the groove B is positioned to a positioning pin 16 for a formal working to position the groove B by this pin 16, thereby, the groove A is indexed to a working position thereof. Subsequently, the switch 21 is switched ON to secure the work 3 onto the V-groove surface 4, thereafter, the precise finishing for the groove A is effected.
