Abstract

PURPOSE:To realize an economical and repective use of enzyme, by putting the beads fixing the enzyme into a reaction container along with an addition of a drainage port and then providing a partition between the beads and the drainage port to pass through the liquid but not the beads. CONSTITUTION:The reaction container 2 on the reaction line 1 consists of the U-shaped tube 22, and the beads 24 fixing enzyme are contained in the cup-shaped part 23. The mesh-type partition plate 26 is provided at the bottom of the container 2 to prevent the beads from being exhausted through the drainage port 25 and along with the liquid in the tube. Thus a reaction is carried out within the container 2 by the dispensed sample, the sample liquid and the enzyme fixed to the beads. Owing to the enzyme fixed within the container 2, the enzyme can be used in an economical and repetitive way.
