ドポンプ6の下端部分の前記タンク本体底壁3か
らの高さ寸法Hは、フイルタ11の最大移動スト
ロークSよりも大きく設定してあるため、路面干
渉やタンク内圧の変動によりタンク本体底壁が変
形して、例えば第1図鎖線で示すようにフイルタ
11が略水平位置にまで最大移動ストロークSで
移動して配置されるような場合でも、フイードポ
ンプ6の下端部分とタンク本体1の底壁3との間

イードポンプ6が突上げられて変形乃至破損する

タンク本体底壁からフイードポンプの下端部分ま
での高さ寸法を、フイルタの最大移動ストローク
よりも大きく設定してあるため、路面干渉やタン
ク内圧変動によりタンク本体底壁が変形してもフ
イードポンプの下端部分とタンク本体の底壁との
間には所要の間へを確保することができる。従つ
て、フイードポンプの振動がタンク本体底壁に伝
わつて騒音の大きな原因となることはないし、フ
イードポンプを突上げ現象から回避することがで
きて燃料供給機能を何等損なうこともなく、より
