Claims (17)
- 上端部および下端部に形成された電極端子を有する板状電池セルを含む電池モジュールであって、
前記電池セルの電極端子が互いに直列に接続され、かつ前記電池セルが積み重ねられるように前記電極端子接続が曲げられているスタック構造で組み立てられた2以上の電池セルと、
互いに結合されたとき、前記電池セルの前記電極端子を除いて前記電池セルの外部表面を囲繞する1対のセルカバーと、を備え、
各セルカバーが、それの外部表面に、横方向(幅方向)に互いに離れて間隔を開けて配置された複数の線状突出部を備え、
前記電池セルが外装部材としてアルミニウム積層シートを使用するポーチ状電池であり、
前記セルカバーが追加の結合部材を使用していないことを特徴とする電池モジュール。 - 前記セルカバーが、前記電池セルスタックの外部形状に対応する内側構造を有し、前記セルカバーが、追加の結合部材を使用することなしに、組立品結合方式で互いに結合されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の電池モジュール。
- 前記セルカバーが押され、同時に前記セルカバーが互いに向かい合うように前記セルカバーが互いに接触するとき、前記セルカバーが弾性結合によって互いに係合し合うことができるように、前記セルカバーは、垂直断面がほぼ対称に形成された対称曲げ構造で組み立てられた結合部分を有することを特徴とする請求項2に記載の電池モジュール。
- 前記電極端子が、溶着で互いに結合されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の電池モジュール。
- 金属層および樹脂層を含む積層シートから作られたケース中に電極組立品が取り付けられ、さらに前記ケースの縁が密封された構造で、各板状電池セルが組み立てられていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の電池モジュール。
- 前記ケースが、アルミニウム積層シートから作られたポーチ状ケースであることを特徴とする請求項5に記載の電池モジュール。
- 前記電池セルの縁密封部分の中で側密封部分は、前記側密封部分が前記ケースの内部形状とほぼ一致するように曲げられていることを特徴とする請求項5に記載の電池モジュール。
- 前記セルカバーが、高熱伝導率を有する金属シートから作られていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の電池モジュール。
- 前記線状突出部の少なくとも1つは、サーミスタが取り付けられる凹みを有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の電池モジュール。
- 前記線状突出部の中で上端部および下端部の突出部が、逆の形に形成された突出部分を有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の電池モジュール。
- 前記突出部分を有する前記突出部が、前記突出部分のまわりに非連続構造で配列されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の電池モジュール。
- 前記突出部の大部分は、前記突出部の相対する端の間の長さが前記セルカバーの幅よりも小さいように組み立てられていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の電池モジュール。
- 前記セルカバーが、それの上端部および下端部に隣接した外部表面に、前記電池モジュールを容易に固定するための所定のサイズの段状部分を備えることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の電池モジュール。
- 前記セルカバーが、それの相対する側に隣接した前記外部表面に、前記電池モジュールを容易に固定するための所定のサイズの段状部分を備えることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の電池モジュール。
- 請求項1に記載の電池モジュールをユニットボディとして使用して製造された中または大型電池パック。
- 前記電池パックは、2以上の電池モジュールのスタックが横方向に立てられるように前記スタックをパックフレームに取り付けることによって製造されることを特徴とする請求項15に記載の電池モジュール。
- 前記電池パックが、電気自動車またはハイブリット電気自動車の電力源として使用されていることを特徴とする請求項15に記載の電池モジュール。
