に挟装されたパッキング環が前記締付環によって被接続
管の外周面に圧接させられて、各被接続管がその軸方向
に摺動可能にシールされている伸縮可撓管継手におい
て、各被接続管の外周面上に載置された2個以上の各チ
ップが、被接続管の前記管端に向かって伸びる食い込み
歯を有し、前記締付環に形成された収納部の内部に収納
されて、両被接続管が互いに離隔する軸方向にのみ移動
可能とされ、前記収納部に螺着されたロックボルトによ
って前記食い込み歯を被接続管の外周面に圧接させら
れ、その圧接による被接続管への押圧力をバランスさせ
る位置に配置されており、各チップのロックボルト当接
面が、被接続管の前記管端寄りの端部から他端部に向か
って徐々に被接続管の外周面に近接するテーパ面とさ
れ、該テーパ面におけるロックボルトの初期当接位置か
ら離隔された前記管端寄りの端部には、ロックボルトに
当接して被接続管の摺動を阻止する凸部が形成されてい
ることを特徴とする伸縮可撓管継手。
