本発明は、ＤＶＤ等のディスクを再生するディスク再生装置に関し、特に、プレイリストによってオリジナル画像の所定部分を取り出して再生できるディスク再生装置に関する。

【従来の技術】
ビデオレコーディング規格のＤＶＤはオリジナル画像が記録されるとともに、オリジナル画像の所定部分を取り出して再生するプレイリストが設けられている。図６はプレイリストの構成例を示す概念図である。ＤＶＤに記録されるオリジナル画像は複数のタイトルＡ、Ｂ、Ｃから成っており、各タイトルはそれぞれ複数のチャプターＡ１〜Ａ５、Ｂ１〜Ｂ４、Ｃ１〜Ｃ３から成っている。各タイトルや各チャプターの開始位置及び終了位置から成るタイトル情報もオリジナル画像の画像情報に加えてＤＶＤに記録されている。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
しかしながら、上記従来のディスク再生装置によると、オリジナル画像の再生中にプレイリストをサーチする際に、ＤＶＤの再生を停止して表示された初期画面画面からプレイリストのサーチを指示する。これにより、ＤＶＤからプレイリストのタイトル情報が読み込まれてサーチ画面に一覧表示される。このため、操作が煩雑になるとともに操作時間がかかりディスク再生装置の使用性が悪い問題があった。

上記目的を達成するために本発明は、ビデオレコーディング規格によりＤＶＤに記録されたオリジナル画像を再生するとともに、プレイリストによりオリジナル画像の所定部分を取り出して再生できるディスク再生装置において、オリジナル画像のタイトル情報とプレイリストのタイトル情報とをディスクのロード時に読み込んで記憶するメモリと、オリジナル画像の再生時にプレイリストのタイトル情報を前記メモリから取り出してプレイリストをサーチするとともにプレイリストの再生時にオリジナル画像のタイトル情報を前記メモリから取り出してオリジナル画像をサーチする制御部とを備えたことを特徴としている。

【発明の実施の形態】
以下に本発明の実施形態を図面を参照して説明する。図１は一実施形態のディスク再生装置の構成を示すブロック図である。ディスク再生装置１はＣＰＵから成る制御部２を有し、制御部２にはドライブ３、操作部４、受信部５、音声出力部６、画像出力部７、記憶部８が接続されている。

本発明によると、オリジナル画像のタイトル情報とプレイリストのタイトル情報とをディスクのロード時に読み込んでメモリに記憶するので、プレイリスト及びオリジナル画像のサーチ時にタイトル情報をメモリから取得できる。これにより、ディスクを停止することなくサーチ画面を表示してサーチの操作が簡単になるとともに操作時間が短縮される。従って、ディスク再生装置の使用性を向上させることができる。
