FIELD OF APPLICATION OF THE FOUND

Object of the invention: a cap (1) for disposable medical syringe, usable in the healthcare, medical, veterinary, and self-medication fields, consisting of a spout (1a) with at least one folding section with bellows / accordion (1b), a inlet hole (1c) of said spout (1a) surrounded by a large elliptical crown (2); said elliptical crown composed of two folding sections (2a), equal and symmetrical, equipped with two fins (2b) and two fins (2c).

The invention is designed to prevent accidental injuries to the fingers holding the cap, and any related infections, produced by the needles during use of the syringes, and for proper ejection of the needle after use. The function of prevention of accidental injuries is preserved even in critical and emergency situations, for example in places with poor lighting or visibility due to smoke or other causes, or on moving vehicles, or when the operator is forced to use the syringe with one hand. This medical instrument is also designed to be used even in the case of different operator skills.

These functions are ensured by the shield effect provided by a large crown around the entrance hole on which two grips for the index-thumb grip are grafted, and by a folding conformation of both the crown and the cap, which makes the needle unusable. after re-insertion and easy to eject.

This cap provides protection for the fingers that hold it, and allows two complementary ways of ejecting and disposing of the needle safely after use.

the elliptical crown (2) is composed of two sections (2a), equal and symmetrical, foldable in correspondence with and in the direction of the inlet hole (1c) of the spout (1a); said sections (2a), folded, bring the two protruding wings (2b) to capture the needle (3) at the base (3a); these sections (2a) have two fins (2c), on the opposite side and off-center with respect to the entrance hole (1c), which provide the fingers with a protected index-thumb grip.

Cap for medical syringe needle with a folding spout, with a large crown around the hole consisting of at least one folding section with a fin that provides grip for the fingers and a wing that captures the needle. 2. Cap according to claim 1, characterized in that said spout has at least one folding section like a bellows / accordion. 3. Cap according to claims 1, 2, characterized in that said spout can be bent completely and in any direction with the hands or against a surface. 4. Cap according to claims 1, 2, 3, characterized in that said tip, bent, folds the needle and locks it inside. 5. Hood according to claims 1, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, characterized in that said fin provides the fingers with an off-center grip and on the opposite side with respect to the entry hole of the spout, protected by said crown. Hood according to claims 1, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, characterized in that said fin serves to hold the cap, fold the folding section of the crown towards the inlet hole, and extract the cap from the syringe. 13. Cap according to claims 1, 9, 10, 11, 12, characterized by the fact that said flap is positioned between the needle and its coupling on the syringe, when the folding section of the crown is completely folded. 14. Cap according to claims 1, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, characterized in that said flap serves to capture the needle inside the cap, when the collapsible section of the crown is completely folded through the grip on said fin. 15. Cap according to claims 1, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, characterized in that the cap drags with it the needle locked inside it by said flap, when the cap is extracted by means of the grip on said fin.
