Abstract

The present invention refers to a mobile radio set suitable for use in interiors and a base station for communication with same. The basic idea of the invention is to make the connection between the mobile radio set and a mobile base station occur via an optical link, especially by infrared radiation. Thus, freedom from radio interference is virtually assured and the problem of frequency allocation disappears, given the enormous available band in the optical spectrum. <IMAGE>
