488,129. Air-filters. VISCO ENGINEERING CO., Ltd., and ELLIS, L. C. May 21, 1937, No. 14198. [Class 8 (ii)] A filter bag for dust-collecting is suspended from one end which is closed, and has a tubular extension member 6 of metal &c. attached to its lower open end within a collar 9 of leather, rubber, felt, impregnated fabric, or metal in hellows form, secured to a partition plate 8 between the inlet hopper chamber 12 and the outlet chamber 4. The bag may be suspended from a lever which can be shaken to remove dust, or the air flow may be reversed for this purpose.
