Abstract

1517657 Anchor bolts ROBERT BOSCH GmbH 1 Oct 1976 [24 Oct 1975] 40958/76 Heading F2H In an anchor bolt assembly comprising a threaded bolt 1 or 21 extending through a longitudinally slotted expansible sleeve 2 and having threaded thereon a frusto-conical expander nut 5 to radially expand the sleeve 2 when the bolt is tightened, the bolt 1 or 21 has a head 11 or 23 connected to the remainder of the bolt by a neck 12 which is designed to shear at a predetermined torque corresponding to the maximum gripping value of the anchor bolt in a receiving bore. In Fig. 1 the neck 12 connects the head 11 to a main head 10. A washer 9, a distance tube 8, and a frusto-conical sleeve 6 are interposed between the head 10 and the rear end of the sleeve 2. In Fig. 2, the head 10 is replaced by a hexagonal nut 22 threaded on the bolt 21, the neck (24) (Fig. 3, not shown) connecting the head 23 directly to the bolt shank. A spacing washer 25, preferably of polyamide 6.6 material, with a radial slot (26) (Fig. 4, not shown) lies between the head 23 and the nut 22.
