Abstract
1494842 Blinds IMPERIAL CHEMICAL INDUSTRIES Ltd 14 April 1976 [23 April 1975] 16800/75 Heading E1J A blind comprises strips 1 each mounted along one edge on a translucent sheet 2, and means 3 varying the angle between sheet and strips. The sheet may be rigid or flexible. The strips are opaque and operated bytapes 3. A blind may be formed by corrugating a sheet to form envelopes and inserting metal strips 8 into the envelopes (Fig. 3). Strips may extend from both sides of the sheet (Fig. 4). Strips may extend between two sheets (Fig. 7). The strips may be laminated with layers of differing thermal expansion (Fig. 9). The sheet may have apertures (36) for ventilation (Fig. 8).
