Abstract

1454427 Scanning mirror ELTRO GmbH GES FUR STRAHLUNGSTECHNIK 4 Nov 1974 [27 Nov 1973] 47650/74 Heading G2J A scanning mirror 1 pivoted at 3 is oscillated by magnetic coils on 5, the coils also forming part of the oscillator circuit. In use the device is driven till the mirror strikes stops 4 to constrain the free sine motion to approximate to a straight line. A variable capacitor 8 in series with a fixed capacitor 9 gives an output indicative of the position of mirror 1.
