Abstract
121,814. Tobler, P. Jan. 2, 1918. Confectionery.-A tube adapted to be held in the mouth is charged with a preparation, for example a mixture of liquorice, citric acid, sugar. water, and amylic acetate, which can be sucked out for allaying or preventing thirst. The tube is in the form of a straw-stem cigarette, and the preparation is introduced in the liquid or syrup-like condition and allowed to harden or congeal by cooling.
