Abstract

1,001,221. Printed circuit board connectors. PRESSAC Ltd. Jan. 2, 1964 [Jan. 2, 1963], No. 219/63. Heading H2E. An electrical connector consists of a block 2 of insulating material having across its width a series of parallel slots 6, Fig. 3, each shaped to receive a multi-pronged metal contact. The two outer prongs 1, Fig. 2, have received ends 4 to interlock with lugs 7. The inner pair of prongs 8 pass up a central tunnel 10 and flex to receive a printed circuit board 12. In a modification, Fig. 5 (not shown), a single inner prong may be used. The contact member may have a soldering tage 14.
