Description
La présente invention concerne un dispositif de compression artérielle hémostatique permettant l'hémostase du point de ponction d'une artère, à la suite d'un cathétérisme cardio-vasculaire en milieu hospitalier. The present invention relates to a hemostatic arterial compression device allowing hemostasis of the puncture point of an artery, following a cardiovascular catheterization in a hospital environment.
La compression artérielle est actuellement effectuée par une forte pression manuelle sur l'orifice pratiqué dans la paroi de l'artère jusqu'à l'arret complet du saignement de celle-ci. Le dispositif selon l'invention permet de remédier à cet inconvénient. Il comporte un plateau rectangulaire horizontal ou socle sur le quel prend appui un montant vertical, de section ronde, réglable de haut en bas et latéralement. Solidaire de l'extrémité supérieure du montant vertical, un bras horizontal également de section circulaire, réglable , vient soutenir l'élément principal de compression. L'élément de compression vertical se termine à sa partie inférieure par une épaisseur de mousse synthétique qui vient comprimer l'artère. Cet élément est muni d'un réglage fin qui permet de mieux apprécier l'efficacité de la compression. Le tampon de mousse synthétique vient s'écraser de manière hémostatique largement sur l'orifice de la paroi de l'artère sans la traumatiser, laissant apparent l'orifice cutané.L'arrêt du saignement par l'orifice cutané prouve l'efficaité de la compression. Le tampon de mousse synthétique doit etre recouvert d'une enveloppe interchangeable imperméable et stéri i isabie. The device according to the invention overcomes this drawback.
