Bei einer fixen Beckenstütze nach der Grundidee der vorliegenden Erfindung wird so ein Mittelwert richtig sein, dass heißt, der kleine Mensch wird etwas näher an der Beckenstütze sitzen und einen etwas höheren Druck hinter den Sitzbeinhöckern haben, der große Mensch wird etwas weiter weg sitzen und einen etwas geringeren Druck haben. Ein Nachteil einer in Längsverschieberichtungen verstell- und arretierbaren Beckenstütze ist die Gefahr der Falscheinstellung und damit entweder die Unwirksamkeit, weil der Abstand zu groß eingestellt ist oder ein unangenehmer Druck, wenn der Abstand zu nahe ist. Der Benutzer soll ja selber durch seinen Körper den Sitzschaum im Bereich des Gesäß ausformen. Dort, wo durch die Beckenstütze weniger Schaum ist (hinter dem Punkt 5) und damit weniger Verdrängungsvolumen, wird der Druck auf das Gesäß (eigentlich auf den Bereich des Kreuzbeines) größer sein wie z.B. im dem Bereich vor der Beckenstütze, da dort mehr Schaumdicke und Schaumvolumen ist. Durch diesen größeren Druck auf das Kreuzbein soll ein Abkippen des Beckens nach hinten vermieden werden, damit der Sitzende nicht in einen Rundrücken fällt, was zwangsläufig passiert, wenn das Becken nach hinten abkippt. Wichtig ist, soviel Druck aufzubauen, dass sowohl eine Stützwirkung auf das Becken möglich wird als aber auch so viel Weichheit und Verformung zu zulassen, dass diese Stütze und der höhere Druck nicht als unangenehm empfunden wird. Der Druck ist wiederum sehr stark davon abhängig, wie der Schaum in der Stauchhärte und im Raumgewicht ist (Qualität des Schaumes), kann also von Schaum zu Schaum unterschiedlich sein. Weiter variiert auch das subjektive Empfinden des Benutzer, das trotz gleicher oder ähnlicher Körperproportionen sehr unterschiedlich sein kann (von sportlich hart bis Daunenweich). Es wird mehr oder weniger Schaum verdrängt, aber das Maß der Verdrängung ist nicht wesentlich für das Funktionsprinzip der Beckenstütze, wohl aber für deren Wirkung. Somit muss der Bereich 18 im Sitzschaum 6 je nach Schaumqualität mit oder ohne Rippen oder auch hohl oder ausgefüllt sein.
