Abstract

A camera device is provided to pick up an image by which an entire object can be checked, even if there is a significant difference in brightness depending on parts of the object. A plurality of images are picked up at different exposure time or with different diaphragms. Then, parts in an image picked up with receiving light exceeding a predetermined level are replaced by parts of other images picked-up with receiving light in the predetermined level. The picked-up image synthesized by this replacement is displayed as a monitor image.
