Durch die Verwendung von Schneidklemmkontakten läßt sich eine besonders schnelle Montage des anzuschließenden Kabels am Steckverbinder bzw. eine Demontage erreichen. Für diese Montage bzw. Demontage ist abgesehen von einer Zange bzw. einem Messer zum Abschneiden des Kabels auf die richtige Länge und zum Entfernen eines Teils der Kabelummantelung kein spezielles Werkzeug erforderlich. anschließend über eine gewisse Strecke schräg und schließlich wieder
in axialer Richtung geführt, bis sie auf der Stirnseite des Druckteils
46 heraustreten. Das Druckteil 46 ist auf seiner Außenseite mit Polarisierungsgestaltungen
48 versehen, die zusammen mit komplementären

Steckverbinder nicht von dem in den Figuren 1 und 2 gezeigten Steckverbinder.
Der einzige Unterschied besteht darin, daß der Anschlußabschnitt
64 des mit den Steckkontakten 60 versehenen Steckverbinders
als Hülse 62 ausgebildet ist, die mit einem Außengewinde 65 versehen
ist. Auf dieses Außengewinde kann die Überwurfmutter 28 des in den
Figuren 1 und 2 gezeigten Steckverbinders aufgeschraubt werden, um die
beiden Steckverbinder fest miteinander zu verbinden. Auf der
Innenwandung der Hülse 62 ist ein Wulst 66 vorgesehen, der im
Querschnitt annähernd halbkreisförmig ist. Dieser Wulst dient zusammen
mit der Nut 32 im Steckkontaktträger 24 dazu, die korrekte
Polarisierung zwischen den Buchsenkontakten 20 und den Steckkontakten
