Der zuvor beschriebene Schulranzen trägt einer hohen Verkehrssicherheit Rechnung. Grund hierfür ist das Vorhandensein der passiven Reflexfolie 60 und vor allem der aktiven elektrolumineszierenden Folie 50. Die Folie 50 zeichnet sich durch eine vergleichsweise große Beleuchtungsstärke aus und ist flach und leichtgewichtig. Sie emittiert ein annähernd homogenes kaltes Licht, das weit sichtbar und wegen seines fehlenden oder nur geringen Anteils an Infrarotstrahlung augenschonend ist. Die Folie 50 ist widerstandsfähig gegen mechanische Beanspruchung und tiefe Temperaturen. Sie verfügt daher über eine vergleichsweise hohe Lebensdauer und trägt zu einer robusten Ausgestaltung des Schulranzens bei. Nicht zuletzt ist die Folie 50 nahezu beliebig verformbar, so daß sie sich ohne weiteres auf einem flexiblen Untergrund, wie es die Außenfläche der Aufsatztasche 21 darstellt, anbringen läßt.The school bag described above takes a high level of traffic safety into account.
