Abstract
本发明提供了一种显示面板及显示装置,用以将电荷泵设置在阵列基板上,从而降低显示面板的成本,同时增加显示面板的产品竞争力。所述显示面板包括阵列基板和驱动芯片,所述阵列基板包括移位寄存器,所述移位寄存器包括相同的多级连接的移位寄存器单元,该阵列基板还包括与所有所述移位寄存器单元连接的电荷泵,其中,所述电荷泵的输入端连接所述驱动芯片,所述电荷泵的输出端连接每一移位寄存器单元。
Description
技术领域
本发明涉及液晶面板领域,尤其涉及一种显示面板及显示装置。
背景技术
随着液晶面板的种类越来越多,对液晶面板的要求也越来越高,如提高液晶面板的分辨率,降低液晶面板的成本,实现液晶面板的超窄边框等。
一般地,液晶显示面板分为三部分,包括薄膜晶体管阵列基板、驱动芯片(IC)和柔性印刷电路板(FPC),其中柔性印刷电路板包括电荷泵(Chargepump),阵列基板包括移位寄存器。参见图1,为现有的液晶显示面板的连接电路图,其中,驱动芯片11连接柔性印刷电路板12中的电荷泵120,电荷泵120连接阵列基板13中的移位寄存器130,其中,阵列基板位于驱动芯片的上面,柔性印刷电路板位于驱动芯片的下面。当驱动芯片产生电压信号时,发送给柔性印刷电路板上的电荷泵,然后电荷泵将电压信号放大,并将放大后的电压发送给阵列基板中的移位寄存器。
其中,电荷泵也称为开关电容式电压变换器,利用所谓的“快速”或“泵送”电容来储能的变换器(DC-DC),它们能使输入电压升高或降低。其内部的场效应晶体管(Field Effect Transistor,FET)开关阵列以一定方式先贮存能量,然后以受控方式释放能量,从而使输入电压以一定因数(0.5,2或3)倍增或降低,得到所需要的输出电压。目前液晶显示器产品Charge pump设置在FPC上,将驱动芯片提供的源极正压VSP、源极负压VSN信号放大,生成栅极高压VGL、栅极低压VGH信号。这样需要在FPC上设置Charge pump,用以提升电压控制开关,使得液晶显示器件成本较高。
综上所述,现有技术的显示面板,将电荷泵设置在柔性印刷电路板上,增加了显示面板的成本。
发明内容
本发明实施例提供了一种显示面板及显示装置,用以将电荷泵设置在阵列基板上,从而降低显示面板的成本,同时增加显示面板的产品竞争力。
本发明实施例提供了一种显示面板,所述显示面板包括阵列基板和驱动芯片,所述阵列基板包括移位寄存器,所述移位寄存器包括相同的多级连接的移位寄存器单元,该阵列基板还包括与所有所述移位寄存器单元连接的电荷泵,其中,所述电荷泵的输入端连接所述驱动芯片,所述电荷泵的输出端连接每一移位寄存器单元。
通过本发明实施例提供的显示面板,将电荷泵设置在阵列基板上,省去了柔性印刷电路板上的电荷泵,从而降低了显示面板的成本,增加了显示面板的产品竞争力。
较佳地,所述电荷泵用于将驱动芯片输出的电压信号放大,并将放大后的电压信号输出给每一移位寄存器单元。
较佳地,每一级移位寄存器单元连接一组栅线,其中,每相邻两行栅线为一组栅线,且不同组包括的栅线不同。
较佳地,当所述阵列基板的左、右边框均包括移位寄存器时,该阵列基板包括与左边框的移位寄存器连接的第一电荷泵,和与右边框的移位寄存器连接的第二电荷泵。
通过在阵列基板的左、右边框均设置一个电荷泵,从而使得当左边框的电荷泵不能正常工作时,该显示面板可以通过右边框的电荷泵提供电压信号给移位寄存器单元,从而驱动栅线,并使得显示面板正常工作;或者,当右边框的电荷泵不能正常工作时,该显示面板可以通过左边框的电荷泵提供电压信号给移位寄存器单元,从而驱动栅线,并使得显示面板正常工作。
较佳地,所述左边框的移位寄存器中的每一级移位寄存器单元,和右边框的移位寄存器中的相同级的移位寄存器单元连接同一组栅线,其中,每相邻两行栅线为一组栅线,且不同组包括的栅线不同。
通过将左边框的移位寄存器中的每一级移位寄存器单元,和右边框的移位寄存器中的相同级的移位寄存器单元连接同一组栅线,从而可以实现窄边框设计。
较佳地,所述左边框的移位寄存器中的每一级移位寄存器单元连接奇数行的栅线,右边框的移位寄存器中的每一级移位寄存器单元连接偶数行的栅线;或者,
所述左边框的移位寄存器中的每一级移位寄存器单元连接偶数行的栅线,右边框的移位寄存器中的每一级移位寄存器单元连接奇数行的栅线。
通过将左边框的移位寄存器中的每一级移位寄存器单元连接奇数行的栅线,右边框的移位寄存器中的每一级移位寄存器单元连接偶数行的栅线,从而实现窄边框设计。

为了使本发明的目的、技术方案和优点更加清楚,下面将结合附图对本发明作进一步地详细描述,显然,所描述的实施例仅仅是本发明一部分实施例,而不是全部的实施例。基于本发明中的实施例,本领域普通技术人员在没有做出创造性劳动前提下所获得的所有其它实施例,都属于本发明保护的范围。
本发明实施例提供了一种显示面板及显示装置,用以将电荷泵设置在阵列基板上,从而降低显示面板的成本,同时增加显示面板的产品竞争力。
下面通过附图具体说明本发明实施例提供的技术方案。
实施例1
参见图2,本发明实施例提供的一种显示面板,该显示面板包括阵列基板21和驱动芯片11,该阵列基板包括移位寄存器211,该移位寄存器包括相同的多级连接的移位寄存器单元2111,该阵列基板还包括与所有移位寄存器单元连接的电荷泵22,其中,电荷泵22的输入端连接驱动芯片11,电荷泵22的输出端连接每一移位寄存器单元2111。
需要说明的是,该显示面板中,阵列基板位于驱动芯片之上。与图1相比,本发明实施例中将电荷泵设置在阵列基板上,使得电荷泵与移位寄存器单元之间的连接距离减小,从而省去了柔性电路板上的关于电荷泵的电子元器件,且降低了显示面板的成本,增加了显示面板的产品竞争力。
为了更加清楚移位寄存器的原理,简单介绍一下移位寄存器单元的连接方式。例如,参见图3,如果整个移位寄存器总共有N级移位寄存器单元(GOAunit),其中的第一级移位寄存器单元的输入端(INPUT)信号由垂直开启信号(Start Vertical,STV)提供,第一级移位寄存器单元的复位(RESET)信号由第二级移位寄存器单元的输出端(OUTPUT)信号提供,第N级移位寄存器单元的INPUT由第N-1级的输出提供,第N级的RESET信号由复位单元(RESET)提供。例如,第n级(1<n<N)的输入信号INTPUT由n-1级的输出OUTPUT提供,第n级的复位信号RESET由n+1级的输出OUTPUT提供。且每一级移位寄存器单元还设有两个输入端,一个用于输入高电平VGH,另一个用于输入低电平VGL,且该两个输出端均连接电荷泵22用于输出高电平VGH的第一输出端和用于输出低电平VGL的第二输出端。
较佳地,电荷泵22用于将驱动芯片11输出的电压信号放大,并将放大后的电压信号输出给每一移位寄存器单元2111。
其中,驱动芯片输出电压为VSP、VSN,该电压用于给控制像素点透光的电容充电,VSP为正电压,VSN为负电压。电荷泵是将VSP、VSN电压信号放大处理,得到可以供移位寄存器输入的高电平VGH和低电平VGL。其中,低电平VGL和高电平VGH用于供移位寄存器输出驱动栅极的扫描信号。
通过将电荷泵设置在阵列基板上,从而当驱动芯片输出VSP和VSN的电压信号给电荷泵时,电荷泵将该电压VSP和VSN放大处理,生成高电平VGH和低电平VGL,并输出给每一移位寄存器单元,因为电荷泵和每一移位寄存器单元均设置在阵列基板上,所以减小了电荷泵和每一移位寄存器单元之间的距离,从而减小了传输信号的时长。
较佳地,参见图4,阵列基板中的每一级移位寄存器单元2111连接一组栅线23,其中,每相邻两行栅线23为一组栅线,且不同组包括的栅线不同。
需要说明的是,每一级移位寄存器单元的输出端可以同时连接两行栅线,使得当该移位寄存器单元输出高电平时,同时扫描该移位寄存器单元连接的两行栅线,从而当显示面板为超高清或者高清显示面板时,可以实现窄边框设计的目的。
较佳地,当阵列基板的左、右边框均包括移位寄存器时,该阵列基板包括与左边框的移位寄存器连接的第一电荷泵,和与右边框的移位寄存器连接的第二电荷泵。
需要说明的是,第一电荷泵和第二电荷泵的结构相同,且第一电荷泵和第二电荷泵可以为同一个电荷泵,也可以为相同的两个电荷泵。本发明实施例不做具体限定。
通过在阵列基板的左、右边框均设置一个电荷泵,从而使得当左边框的电荷泵不能正常工作时,该显示面板可以通过右边框的电荷泵提供电压信号给移位寄存器单元,从而驱动栅线,并使得显示面板正常工作;或者,当右边框的电荷泵不能正常工作时,该显示面板可以通过左边框的电荷泵提供电压信号给移位寄存器单元,从而驱动栅线,并使得显示面板正常工作。
较佳地,参见图5,当阵列基板21的左、右边框均包括移位寄存器211时,左边框的移位寄存器211中的每一级移位寄存器单元2111,和右边框的移位寄存器211中的相同级的移位寄存器单元2111连接同一组栅线23,其中,每相邻两行栅线23为一组栅线,且不同组包括的栅线23不同。
通过将左边框的移位寄存器中的每一级移位寄存器单元,和右边框的移位寄存器中的相同级的移位寄存器单元连接同一组栅线,从而可以实现窄边框设计。具体地,在实际工作中,可以单独使用左边框的移位寄存器工作,或者单独使用右边框的移位寄存器工作,从而当左边框的移位寄存器单元不能正常工作时,可以采用右边框的移位寄存器驱动栅线,且同时驱动两行栅线,从而实现显示面板的正常工作,且实现窄边框的设计;或者,当右边框的移位寄存器单元不能正常工作时,可以采用左边框的移位寄存器驱动栅线,且同时驱动两行栅线,从而实现显示面板的正常工作,且实现窄边框的设计。
较佳地,参见图6,当阵列基板21的左、右边框均包括移位寄存器211时,左边框的移位寄存器中的每一级移位寄存器单元连接奇数行的栅线,右边框的移位寄存器中的每一级移位寄存器单元连接偶数行的栅线(图5中仅示出了左边框的每一级移位寄存器单元连接奇数行的栅线的情况);或者,
左边框的移位寄存器中的每一级移位寄存器单元连接偶数行的栅线,右边框的移位寄存器中的每一级移位寄存器单元连接奇数行的栅线。
在实际工作中,当左边框的移位寄存器中的每一级移位寄存器单元连接奇数行的栅线,右边框的移位寄存器中的每一级移位寄存器单元连接偶数行的栅线时,需要左边框和右边框的移位寄存器单元交替扫描,即左边框的第一级移位寄存器单元先扫描第一行栅线,然后右边框的第一级移位寄存器单元扫描第二行栅线,左边框的第二级移位寄存器单元先扫描第三行栅线,右边框的第二级移位寄存器单元扫描第四行栅线,依次类推,实现所有栅线的扫描过程。
通过将左边框的移位寄存器中的每一级移位寄存器单元连接奇数行的栅线,右边框的移位寄存器中的每一级移位寄存器单元连接偶数行的栅线,从而实现窄边框设计。
本发明实施例提供的一种显示装置,包括本发明实施例提供的显示面板。
综上所述,本发明提供的一种显示面板,包括阵列基板和驱动芯片,该阵列基板包括移位寄存器,移位寄存器包括相同的多级连接的移位寄存器单元,该阵列基板还包括与所有移位寄存器单元连接的电荷泵,其中,电荷泵的输入端连接所述驱动芯片,所述电荷泵的输出端连接每一移位寄存器单元。所以通过将电荷泵设置在阵列基板上,省去了柔性印刷电路板上的电荷泵,从而降低了显示面板的成本,增加了显示面板的产品竞争力。
显然,本领域的技术人员可以对本发明进行各种改动和变型而不脱离本发明的精神和范围。这样,倘若本发明的这些修改和变型属于本发明权利要求及其等同技术的范围之内,则本发明也意图包含这些改动和变型在内。
Claims (7)
1.一种显示面板,所述显示面板包括阵列基板和驱动芯片,所述阵列基板包括移位寄存器,所述移位寄存器包括相同的多级连接的移位寄存器单元,其特征在于,该阵列基板还包括与所有所述移位寄存器单元连接的电荷泵,其中,所述电荷泵的输入端连接所述驱动芯片,所述电荷泵的输出端连接每一移位寄存器单元。
2.根据权利要求1所述的显示面板,其特征在于,所述电荷泵用于将驱动芯片输出的电压信号放大,并将放大后的电压信号输出给每一移位寄存器单元。
3.根据权利要求1所述的显示面板,其特征在于,每一级移位寄存器单元连接一组栅线,其中,每相邻两行栅线为一组栅线,且不同组包括的栅线不同。
4.根据权利要求1所述的显示面板,其特征在于,当所述阵列基板的左、右边框均包括移位寄存器时,该阵列基板包括与左边框的移位寄存器连接的第一电荷泵,和与右边框的移位寄存器连接的第二电荷泵。
5.根据权利要求4所述的显示面板,其特征在于,所述左边框的移位寄存器中的每一级移位寄存器单元,和右边框的移位寄存器中的相同级的移位寄存器单元连接同一组栅线,其中,每相邻两行栅线为一组栅线,且不同组包括的栅线不同。
6.根据权利要求4所述的显示面板,其特征在于,所述左边框的移位寄存器中的每一级移位寄存器单元连接奇数行的栅线,右边框的移位寄存器中的每一级移位寄存器单元连接偶数行的栅线;或者,
所述左边框的移位寄存器中的每一级移位寄存器单元连接偶数行的栅线,右边框的移位寄存器中的每一级移位寄存器单元连接奇数行的栅线。
