Abstract

"FORMULAçõES DE DROGA ANTIBIóTICA OFTáLMICA CONTENDO UM COMPOSTO DE CICLODEXTRINA E CLORETO DE CETIL PIRIDìNIO". A presente invenção refere-se a uma composição farmacêutica adequada para administração tópica a um olho, a composição compreendendo (a) uma droga antibiótica, por exemplo, linezolid, em uma concentração da droga terapêutica ou profilaticamente eficaz, (b) como um agente solubilizante, um composto de ciclodextrina farmaceuticamente aceitável em uma concentração suficiente para manter a droga em solução a uma tal concentração da droga e (c) como um conservante, cloreto de cetil piridínio. A composição é particularmente útil para o tratamento e/ou prevenção de infecções do olho devido às bactérias gram-positivas.
