However, facing the dual challenges of audience attrition and competition from emerging media, CCTV cannot afford to be complacent. Today, with the gradual maturation of digital technology, CCTV is actively promoting digital transformation to enhance media competitiveness and ensure it meets the ever-changing needs of its audience. This is not only a necessity for keeping pace with the times but also an important measure to gain the favor and recognition of the new era's audience. This article will showcase CCTV's significant achievements in cross-platform dissemination, program content diversification, enhancing program-audience interaction, and program personalization. The programs cover a wide range of themes and formats, catering to the needs and interests of different audience groups. Additionally, the article will analyze the development trends of CCTV programs in terms of diversification, interactivity, and personalization, as well as the future development directions of personalized content creation, audience interaction technology application, and the use of emerging technologies.

Development of trilingual education in Kazakhstan and use English as a Medium of Instruction (EMI... more Development of trilingual education in Kazakhstan and use English as a Medium of Instruction (EMI) is a complicated process with both positive and negative sides; so it is necessary to explore EMI policy in Kazakhstani Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) and its role for graduates' employability and career prospects and opportunities through qualitative and quantitative research in order to define holistic approach to higher education in the frame of trilingual education policy and the aspects of EMI that need improvement. The following subtopics will be explored during the research: − additional competences suggested by both regulating documents on implementation of multilingual education in HEIs in Kazakhstan and educational programs (EP) using EMI; − opinions of students enrolled into EP with EMI about opportunities and challenges of the programs / EMI education; − opinions of HEIs graduates who studied in English about opportunities and challenges of EMI education; − opinions of the employers of multilingual graduates about their professional skills, competences, and soft skills. The main research question that our study aims to answer is: What are the implications and challenges of EMI in HEIs in Kazakhstan for the employability and career opportunities of graduates? To answer the research question, a range of methods will be used for collecting data (surveys and interviews with students, graduates and employers).

The article considers switching of language codes as one of the typical features of digital communication and identifies the role of each language involved in this process. The main purpose of the article is to identify the most typical functions of code-switching in Kazakhstani multilingual settings. Our work is based on the material excerpted from 3 chats in WhatsApp messenger by means of continuous sampling. It shows that Russian language in bilingual communication works frequently as a modal and emotional framework of utterance with the predominance of Kazakh language as a means of communication.

Современная языковая ситуация в Республике Казахстан может рассматриваться как классический случа... more Современная языковая ситуация в Республике Казахстан может рассматриваться как классический случай мультилингвизма с доминированием государственного языка и языка межнационального общения. В силу ряда экстралингвистических факторов абсолютное большинство казахов являются билингвами, причем билингвизм в данном случае можно квалифицировать как естественный, продуктивный, координативный. На наш взгляд, подобная комбинация характеристик билингвизма создает огромные преимущества для формирования переводческих компетенций в рамках сразу двух языковых пар. Целью нашей работы является рассмотрение современной ситуации в системе подготовки переводчиков и выработка рекомендаций для использования несомненных преимуществ существующей в Казахстане языковой ситуации. Результаты опроса среди работодателей, в число которых входят переводческие и туристические агенства города Алматы, а также представительства таких компаний, как DHL, Turkish Airlines, Air Astana, «Хамле» было выявлено, что они отдают предпочтение специалистам, владеющим как русским, так и казахским языком и способным успешно работать как с языковой парой английский-русский, так и с парой английский-казахский. Несмотря на уникальную языковую ситуацию в Казахстане, в данный момент пока не осуществляется подготовка специалистов по программе, которая давала бы возможность развить компетенции для перевода на русский и казахский языки одновременно. В связи с этим возникает вопрос о необходимости создания специальной образовательной программы по подготовке студентов-билингвов в качестве будущих переводчиков.

The aim of this research is to study one of the important concepts representing Russian national world view i.e. a conceptualized word DUTY/ДОЛГ on the one hand, and two corresponding English words such as DUTY and DEBT, on the other hand. In order to show the discrepancies between those concepts in English and Russian cultures, comparative research technique has been used. The author compared data excerpted from the British National Corpus (BNC) and the Russian National Corpus (RNC). Обсуждается необходимость выявления и предотвращения ошибок интерферентного характера в процессе ... more Обсуждается необходимость выявления и предотвращения ошибок интерферентного характера в процессе изучения билингвизма и полилингвизма в полиэтнической среде. Анализируется речевое поведение билингвов / полилингвов в конкретных ситуациях общения; на материале текстов общим объемом 31 057 слов выявлено 1 200 случаев типичных интерферентных ошибок. В результате анкетирования двух групп респондентов (с доминирующим казахским / русским языком) путем рефлексии определяется отношение к данным ошибкам, допускаемым в процессе коммуникации. Ключевые слова: субординативный билингвизм, интерферентные ошибки, полилингвизм, казахско-русский / русско-казахский билингвизм, ошибки в произношении, ошибки в употреблении слов / сочетаемости слов, ошибки в использовании грамматических категорий, ошибки в построении предложений.

The specificity of written communication in digital space (by means of such messengers as WhatsApp and Viber) determines various peculiarities of the process, such as conciseness, clear goal-setting and others. Nevertheless, code switching representing specific processes in the act of communication and linguistic consciousness of speakers takes place in such a specific communication mode in multilingual environment. The authors examined about 100 contexts showing code-switching process in a homogeneous environment among the communicants with the same social and educational status and having the elite type of speech culture. However, the communicants demonstrate mixing of linguistic units of at least two languages (Kazakh and Russian) as well as mistakes made due to interference.

Among them, there are blended nonce-words that are on the verge of norms violation. A number of these lexical units, which should be considered as a demonstration of linguistic personality creative potential, are related to the stock vocabulary of native twenty-first century Russian-language speakers. This phenomenon occurs various languages and different cultures. Therefore the article dwells upon blended neologisms, including native Russian and borrowed elements. The predominant role of situation and context in that pattern is obvious: those nonce-words have not been fixed in lexical system yet. The article is dedicated to holophrastic neologisms i.e. blended words constructed on the basis o... more The article is dedicated to holophrastic neologisms i.e. blended words constructed on the basis of word combinations. The author focuses on emotiveness of holophrastic structures in political texts represented in the Internet. A dynamic contradiction between the violation of a norm, taking place in new words formation (those new words are considered as occasionalisms of holophrastic type) and new ways of emotiveness representation has been studied from the viewpoint of language ecology. In course of research, more than 100 texts and microtexts were analyzed; at the same time, the ironic potential, language games and the possibility of self-expression of the subject turned out to be characteristic of political texts.
