This study examines the main aspects of philosophy studies that are directly the basis for the im... more This study examines the main aspects of philosophy studies that are directly the basis for the implementation and development of governance in the field of education. The substance, approach and ontological, epistemological and axiological viewpoints in the development of Islamic education governance are critically analyzed and offered to be the foundation and basic for institutional revitalization and education policy reform in the current era of openness. This study is a conceptual study in which the data sources and references are formulated through library review and studied in depth with patterns and methods of content analysis. The formulation of this study illustrates that; 1). The essence of Islamic educational governance emphasizes the importance of balancing rational thinking with spiritual values, mastery of reason in the tradition of science with the firmness of spirituality. 2). The foundation must adopt a comprehensive approach to cognitive development, prioritizing affective growth especially values and attitudes and actions in real application. Educational governance must support the independence of the students, provide space to develop into progressive, creative, and innovative individuals, adapting to the changing times and environment. 3). The urgency of integrating leadership and managerial principles into a strong, dynamic, independent, and innovative personal character. And actions based on Islamic principles that are reflected in the value of worship, the value of ikhsan, the value of ukhrawi orientation, the value of rahmatan lil'alamin, positivity, long-term thinking, tawakkal.

This research examines the role of the availability of waqf systems in supporting the development... more This research examines the role of the availability of waqf systems in supporting the development of three-dayah education in Aceh. This research uses a qualitative approach with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. Islam as a religion of rahmatan lil alamin and bring peace governs all patterns of human life, starting its relationship with Allah (habluminallah) and its relationship with humans (habluminannas). Learning the teachings of Islam means requiring teaching, teaching is obtained in the institute of education. Traditional educational institusions commonly dayah still show their exclusitivity until now because it is supported by the availability of waqf. The results showed that in three Dayah Aceh, namely Dayah MUDI and Dayah Daarul Huda utilizing waqf property for the availability of learning rooms and teacher dormitories to support education development. Dayah Ashasul Islamiyah develops waqf property to increase economic value and social welfare through the utilization of shrimp ponds. The positive impact of the availability of waqf in three dayah in Aceh is the increase in student achievement and welfare for teachers.

Peneliti ingin melihat bagaimana manajemen literasi yang diterapkan dayah Putri Muslimat Samalanga terhadap pembudayaan membaca. Metode penelitian dalam skripsi ini penelitian ini yang merupakan jenis penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan normatif dan sifatnya deskriptif. Dalam pengumpulan data peneliti melakukan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa manajemen Literasi Yang Diterapkan Dayah Putri Muslimat Samalanga Terhadap Pembudayaan Membaca: perencanaan, peorganisasian, pelaksanaan, pengawasan dan evaluasi. Aceh mencapai kegemilangan tamadun pada abad ke-17, sebagai pusat penyebaran Islam dan rujukan ilmu selain Mekah sehingga mendapat gelaran 'Serambi Mekah" Pengalamanpengalaman para ulama dalam tradisi institusi zawiyah yang menganjurkan pengajian kitab bersanad, amalan bersanad dan tarekat sufi yang ditinjau secara historis akan direfleksikan sebagai asas untuk pembangunan rohani Aceh pasca tsunami.

Waqf, a significant Islamic philanthropic institution, has historically played a crucial role in funding various social and religious activities, including education. 1 The study investigates the forms of waqf utilized to support Pondok in Aceh, analyzes the challenges faced by waqf institutions in effectively managing and utilizing waqf funds for educational purposes, and explores potential strategies to enhance the contribution of waqf to the sustainability and quality of Islamic traditional education in the region. The findings of this research will provide valuable insights for policymakers, waqf administrators, and educational institutions in optimizing the role of waqf in fostering a vibrant and sustainable Islamic educational landscape in Aceh and beyond
