Abstract

Development of Teaching Materials Based on M-Learning on Material Opportunities for Vocational High School Students Oriented to Mathematical Creative Thinking Ability and Learning Independence. This development research refers to the development steps by Allesi & Trollip with procedures that include planning, design and development. The purpose of this development research; (1) Producing M-Learning-based teaching materials on opportunity material for SMK students, (2) Producing M-Learning-based teaching materials that are oriented towards creative thinking skills, (3) Producing M-Learning-based teaching materials that are oriented towards independent learning. Data collection techniques used interview guidelines, material expert questionnaires, media expert questionnaires and student response questionnaires as well as test instruments. Product testing consists of alpha testing and beta testing. This research produces teaching materials based on m-learning in the form of applications on Android smartphones, namely mastery of mathematics. The product developed is considered suitable for use with an average value of material expert validators 4.4, media expert assessment 3.89 with a feasible category and teaching materials are considered oriented to creative thinking skills with an average validation of 4 with a very feasible category, and self-oriented learning with an average validity of 4.43 with a very feasible category.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out the difficulties students experienced in solving integer and fraction operations in class VII students at SMIQu Al-Bahjah center. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative research and literature review with data collection techniques using diagnostic tests, interviews, and library data. Meanwhile, data analysis techniques are carried out through the stages of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The subjects of this study were 32 students of class VII SMPIQu Al-Bahjah Center who completed diagnostic test questions. The results showed that (1) students did not understand the concept of integer operations, especially negative integer operations and mixed integer operations; (2) students experience problems in reading word problems and converting them into mathematical models; and (3) difficulties with fraction operations in algebraic.

Abstract

Students’ low mathematics learning outcomes are influenced by the lack of teachers linking learning with daily life; teachers also apply conventional learning models that emphasize lectures and lectures. Ethnomathematics is a link between culture and education, especially mathematics education. Sundanese culture can be integrated into ethnomathematics, as seen from the use of non-standard units by Sundanese society. In addition, games and household appliances can be used as ethnomathematical-based problem-solving models. The method used in this study uses a qualitative library research approach with data collection techniques using a literature review. The focus of this study is the improvement of students' mathematics learning outcomes through Sundanese ethnomathematics in the fields of geometry and measurement. The results of this study stated that ethnomathematics-based mathematics learning could improve student learning outcomes and problem-solving abilities by learning, analyzing, and practicing in learning activities. Then integrating ethnomathematics indirectly can increase understanding and open new insights about local cultures, such as Sundanese culture. Thus students are expected to increase their insight into Sundanese culture and achievements simultaneously.

Abstract

Students' Creative Thinking Ability can be developed through the learning process at school, the way that is done is to provide description questions that can reveal creative thinking abilities. This study aims to explore examples of students' creative thinking skills which can be used as a stimulus to improve their abilities. This type of research is descriptive research, with data collection techniques obtained through literature studies (thesis, textbooks, journals) as well as primary data obtained through experiments. The steps for data collection are carried out by giving students a set of examples of creative thinking ability test questions with adjusted material coverage based on indicators of creative thinking ability. The results showed that the students' creative thinking ability as a whole was included in the medium category.

Abstract

Learning difficulties are a disorder of conditions in students that deviate between their abilities and achievements aimed at three basic academics such as reading, writing, and calculating. This study aims to identify and describe the difficulty of learning mathematics in matrix material. This study used qualitative research methods. The subjects of this study were students of class XI SMAIQu Al-Bahjah. Data collection techniques using observation, tests, and interviews. The data analysis techniques used are data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study indicate that students experience difficulties in solving matrix problems on indicators of lack of understanding of concepts, miscalculations and errors in the use of symbols. The percentage of students' lack of understanding is 65%, the percentage of calculation errors is 30% and the percentage of errors in symbol use is 5%. The most difficulty made by students is the lack of understanding of the concept. One of the causes of the lack of understanding of the concept is because students do not understand the concept of material related to the matrix so that students have difficulty solving problems.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) Keefektifan model pembelajaran Mind Mapping terhadap kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa, (2) Keefektifan model pembelajaran Accelerated Learning terhadap kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa, dan (3) Perbandingan keefektifan model pembelajaran Mind Mapping dan Accelerated Learning terhadap kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 19 Batam. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen dengan populasi seluruh siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 19 Batam sebanyak 399 siswa. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik simple random sampling dan diperoleh sampel sebanyak 99 siswa. Validitas dan reliabilitas instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini kemudian diuji, selanjutnya analisis data dengan menggunakan Uji T dependen dan independen diperoleh. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Model pembelajaran Mind Mapping efektif terhadap kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa, (2) Model pembelajaran Accelerated Learning efektif terhadap kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa, (3) Terdapat perbedaan keefektifan antara model pembelajaran Mind Mapping dan Accelerated Learning terhadap kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa. Pada saat yang sama, model Mind Mapping lebih efektif karena dari karakteristik siswa yang lebih tertarik secara visual ketika Mind Mapping ditampilkan, karakter yang lebih mampu mengikuti pembelajaran ketika mengetahui produk akhir yang akan di buat yaitu membuat Mind Mapping, dan karakter siswa yang lebih tertarik dengan kreativitas.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan bahan ajar berbasis m-learning pada materi limit fungsi aljabar. Penelitian pengembangan ini mengacu pada langkah-langkah pengembangan oleh Plomp dengan prosedur yaitu fase investigasi awal, fase desain, fase realisasi atau konstruksi, serta fase tes evaluasi dan revisi. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan pedoman wawancara, angket untuk ahli materi, angket untuk ahli media, dan angket respon siswa. Penelitian ini menghasilkan bahan ajar berbasis m-learning berbentuk aplikasi android. Bahan ajar yang dikembangkan dinilai layak digunakan untuk siswa Sekolah Menengah Atas (SMA) kelas XI yang terlihat dari hasil validasi ahli materi, validasi ahli media dan respon siswa.

Abstract

Mathematics is a subject that supports students' creativity in mathematical thinking. Because mathematics requires students to be able to think creatively and critically, This research aims to conduct a study using the literature review method related to the influence of motivation and the CPS (Creative problem solving) learning model on students' mathematical and creative thinking abilities. The research method was carried out using a qualitative library research approach and the SLR (systematic literature review) data collection method for all articles related to the object of this research, including 30 national and international journal articles obtained from Google Scholar. From this research, it was found that motivation and creative problem-solving learning models influence students' creative thinking abilities. Creative teachers, learning media, class atmosphere, and appropriate learning methods and models support increasing students' creative thinking abilities.

Abstract

Media pembelajaran merupakan salah satu media yang dipandang efektif untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mangkaji pengaruh media pembelajaraan terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa. Metode yang digunakan yaitu Systematic Literature Review (SLR). Pengumpulan artikel bersumber dari Google Scholar yang diterbitkan dari tahun 2022 sampai 2023. Diperoleh sebanyak 14 artikel yang dikaji. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan media pembelajaran berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat membantu guru dan peneliti tentang pentingnya media pembelajaran dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika siswa.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui penggunaan Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik (LKPD) dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik tentang materi operasi hitung aljabar peserta didik kelas VII SMPN 8 Purwakarta. Subjek penelitian adalah peserta didik kelas VII SMPN 8 Purwakarta semester ganjil tahun pelajaran 2021/2022 sebanyak 32 peserta didik. Objek penelitian ini adalah hasil belajar peserta didik yang diperoleh dengan tes hasil belajar. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan analisis statistik deskriptif. Penelitian ini dilakukan dalam dua siklus dan diawali dengan tindakan prasiklus. Setiap siklusnya dilakukan kegiatan perencanaan, tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Berdasarkan tindakan tersebut diperoleh hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa pada Pra Siklus nilai rata-rata 69,14. Pada Siklus I nilai rata-rata 76,57 dan pada siklus II menjadi 81,57. Ketuntasan belajar dengan nilai KKM sebesar 75, pada Pra Siklus ketuntasan klasikal 37,50%, pada Siklus I ketuntasan klasikal menjadi 65,63% dan Siklus II menjadi 81,25%. Respon peserta didik terhadap penggunaan LKPD yang awalnya dari layak menjadi dangat layak serta pembelajaran juga masuk kategori baik. berdasarkan hal tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan LKPD dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik tentang materi operasi hitung aljabar peserta didik kelas VII SMPN 8 Purwakarta.
