Abstract

Class imbalance has become an ongoing problem in the field of Machine Learning and Classification. The group of data classes that are less known as the minority group, the other data class group is called the majority group (majority). In essence real data, data that is mined directly from the database is unbalanced. This condition makes it difficult for the classification method to perform generalization functions in the machine learning process. Almost all classification algorithms such as Naive Bayes, Decision Tree, K-Nearest Neighbor and others show very poor performance when working on data with highly unbalanced classes. The classification methods mentioned above are not equipped with the ability to deal with class imbalance problems. Many data processing methods are often used in cases of data imbalance, in this case research will be carried out using the Spider2 method. In this study, the Ecoli dataset was used, while for this study, 5 (five) different Ecoli datasets were used for each dataset for the level of data imbalance. After testing datasets with different levels of Inbalancing Ratio (IR), starting from the smallest 1.86 to 15.80, the results that explain that the KNN algorithm can improve its performance even better in terms of unbalanced data classification by adding the SPIDER- method 2 as a tool in dataset processing. In the 5 trials, the performance of the KNN algorithm can increase GM by 5.81% and FM 14.47% by adding the SPIDER-2 method to KNN.

Abstract

One of the most important things in the work process is the presentation of information that is fast and accurate. Data is processed in a short time, it will increase work efficiency, one of which is by using the system to process and display data into information. Information systems are needed considering technology is growing and now people are required to use more technology to reduce activities outside the home. Problems that often arise are the tight location of registration and the length of service for one registrant due to filling out registration forms and screening examinations for new students. In addition, the large accumulation of registration and trial files also takes a long time so that announcements of new student graduations cannot be made. The goal is to build a new student admission information system for all faculties at the Indonesian Methodist University, reduce applicants who come to the registration location, reduce the use of paper registration forms, help submit and fill in student data, conduct online screening exams, provide information on new student registration, schedule and payment of tuition fees. The result of this initialization is building a new student registration information system using the Codeigniter Framework and Application Programming Interface (API). Abstract

Faculty of Computer Science is one of the faculties at the University Methodist Indonesia. At this school there is a sistemabsensi faculty and students who are still running it manually, which dalampenerapan attendance system, there are some things that become obstacles, which include the effectiveness and efficiency of time and prosespengabsenan. With the above reasons, the authors try to memberikanalternatif solving problems by creating a software absensiyang system will record data and a list of faculty and student attendance, number and recapitulation presence of faculty and students, which will be made in a systematic and computerized WITH barcode, which will eliminate the process attendance of lecturers and students who have been running it manually in the Faculty of Computer Science. Barcode will method of reducing levels of fraud at the time of charging absent students, and to improve discipline in attendance. At this writing will also be explained stages of processing, mulaidari process of analysis, planning, design by using VB.Net and MySQL for its database, to manufacture DFD (Data Flow Diagram) as an indication of the current procedure that akanditerapkan data on the system, and the analysis of inputs and output, to know anything what the data will be input and output.

Abstract

Watermarking is now well known and popular as one of the solutions to protect files and digital media by entering information such as digital signs into the core of the multimedia objects with an invisible state and reliably in conditions that exploit the contents of the digital media. The information included in the image can be text, logos or audio. Labelling is done with adaptive watermarking techniques to calculate phases of the pixel values of the logo file (watermark), calculate the DCT coefficients (Discrete Cosine Transform) digital images, digital image modifying DCT coefficients according to bit files logo, reconstruct a digital image by performing inverse DCT, extracting files logo of the image that has been watermarked. The extracted watermark data is then compared with the original watermark data by calculating the Bit Error Rate (BER), which is the ratio between the number of bits that one of the bits as a whole. From the results of the testing that has been done on the application that is designed may inserting a message in the form of the image into a digital image file, inserting a message in the form of text into image files, the extraction process penyisip of file watermarking and can do the comparison value BER (Bit Error Rate).

Abstract

In general, students are more tightly when faced with personal problems, financial problems, family and moral issues. So often there is a failure as a result of the issue unresolved. So expect the need for an application or system for media consulting experts to find a solution in accordance with their respective problems. So that problems can be detected early, it can use an application that has been designed based on the data of experts that has been incorporated into the database of knowledge. These types of problems and solutions are dynamic based on user needs and new knowledge experts found. Categories are often problematic issues of personality, economics and finance, family, education and other social issues. Data experts will first be incorporated as early knowledge that has been given by the experts. Sources of data obtained from the experience of experts encountered during counseling in college. Then the inference engine will draw final conclusions based on searches that have been determined on the basis of the rules. The goal is student can perform expert counseling through applications designed. The method used in the search is a method Best First Search and search by the method of backward chaining. Results from this study is a useful application for counseling for troubled students

Abstract

Measures the percentage similarity becomes important documents today because of the many digital documents in particular scientific work. Measurements were performed by using keywords solution of some of the documents that the user selected after the competition keywords. The process of determining keywords algorithm solution with genetics to produce the latest generation of the best with Jaccard Function. Then the similarity calculation process will be done using the keyword query comparing the solution with an existing document in a database that is in the post title, abstract, keywords and references. Similarity calculation method used is the Percentage of Similarity (POSI) Formulation. The number of keywords found on each document will be distributed in the whole of keywords that are found to produce a percentage of similarity. From the tests results obtained similarity of documents idDoc-661 amounted to 32.26%, 24.19% in the second sequence idDoc-665 and the third number of 19.35% on idDoc-663 and fourth at 12.90% in idDoc -667 and the latter by 11.29% in idDoc-666. Based on these tests can find out similarities with the other documents.

Abstract

The use of technology in the application of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) becomes very important to build relationships between customers as well as providing information provided to customers. The benefits of implementing CRM are to help keep existing customers and to gain new customers. In this study the authors implement CRM in an information system E-commers on Bookstore Gapura. Where currently there is no E-commission information system available in Gapura Bookstore. The method used in this design is using Data Flow Diagram (DFD). This application is also created by using PHP programming language using MySQL. With this application so that facilitate Bookstore Gapura in providing information and promotion, so that information delivered more efficient and clear to the consumer.

Abstract

The internet is a medium of information that is very fast and efficient in disseminating information that can not be separated by distance and time. To search for data through the website, sometimes the user forgets the address of the website to be search for data so that the data sought is difficult to obtain and if finally obtained, it takes a long time to find the data. Therefore a system is built that will facilitate the user in searching data without having to fill in the URL address of the search website, users can choose which websites will be used as a source of data search. Applications that are built using the hash join method where this method alone can be used to join tables containing website data in a database so that the user can display the desired data based on the input entered into the application. The results of the searches obtained are contents that contain texts in the form of titles or contents of web pages that match the keywords that users enter when searching from selected websites. This content can be in the form of web pages, which can then be accessed directly within the application.

Abstract

Improving services in all fields in higher education is the main choice because it is closely related to stakeholder satisfaction, especially in the academic field. Information technology used in managing activities will determine the desired process and output. So it is necessary to evaluate and audit information technology to determine the achievement of performance or productivity. Universitas Methodist Indonesia has implemented Information Technology in managing academic activities ranging from new student registration to student graduation, lecturer and staff activities, research activities, and community service. COBIT is one of the tools used in auditing information systems and information technology. The audit is carried out on human resources related to system and technology management involving the Head of the Data Processing Center, Head of Administration and Information Services, Head of System Development Affairs, and Implementing Staff. To obtain data by making a questionnaire given to the audited party. From the test results on the effectiveness of the control, there is already a running control, namely PO8.1. Quality Management System, PO8.4. Customer Focus, PO8.5 Continuous Improvement, and PO8.6 Quality Measurement, Monitoring and Review, DS5.9. Malicious Software Prevention, Detection, and Correction need to be improved and continuously. Then the level of performance of the Detailed Control Objective (DCO) in the third party service management process still tends to be lacking and still needs to be improved, with the average performance value in the third party service management process being 1.5.

Abstract

Machine learning plays an important role in managing important issues to classify and predict information that develops ahead of the General Election in Indonesia. Especially in knowing public sentiment on the discourse on the postponement of the 2024 election through Twitter social media. So it is necessary to analyze the discourse by categorizing it as positive or negative. The Support Vector Machine (SVM) model is used for analysis and classification. The sample data used were 100 tweets data which were then scraped in the period January 2022 – May 2022. The processing was done using Python programming and Jupyter Lab tools. Before doing the analysis, do preprocess to eliminate unnecessary words and information so that the level of accuracy of the results of this Twitter sentiment classification can provide a closer picture of reality. As for the results of the grouping carried out positive sentiment in as many as 40 data tweets and negative sentiment in as many as 60 data tweets. The classification test results on tweets data with a good level of accuracy of 92%. These results are expected to be a reference for future researchers who want to improve accuracy or analysis results.
