Abstract

The electricity supply crisis is still a major problem in various remote areas in Indonesia, which has a negative impact on economic growth, education, and community welfare. To overcome this problem, the use of renewable energy such as Microhydro Power Plants (PLTMH) is one of the relevant and sustainable solutions. This study aims to analyze the role of microhydro in overcoming the electricity supply crisis, as well as identifying supporting and inhibiting factors in its implementation. The research method used is a qualitative-descriptive approach with data collection techniques through literature studies, interviews, and field observations in areas that have developed PLTMH. The results of the study show that microhydro is able to make a significant contribution to the provision of electricity independently in areas that have not been reached by the PLN network. In addition, active community involvement in the management and maintenance of PLTMH is a key factor in the success of this program. However, challenges such as limited funds, lack of technical support, and operational sustainability issues are still major obstacles. Therefore, synergy between the government, community, and private sector is needed to encourage the development of microhydro as a long-term solution to overcome the electricity supply crisis in remote areas.

Abstract

The purpose of this community service is to provide provisions and understanding for the community in Labuan Salumbone Village so that they have the skills, knowledge and attitude to enter the world of independent entrepreneurship as an effort to improve the economic welfare of the community. By giving lectures on the benefits of entrepreneurial activities, of course, it will provide encouragement and enthusiasm for the community to create business opportunities independently. This activity can also be a driver for the community to be economically independent. The target of this real work lecture program is to increase awareness of the world of Basic Education, especially children, to the community, in addition to being a motivation and inspiration for the village community through entrepreneurial activities. With good entrepreneurial knowledge, it is hoped that it will be able to foster a mature attitude of independence in trying to improve the economic standard of living of the village

Abstract

The UIN Datokarama Thematic Community Service program has successfully organized the Towale Festival as an effort to revitalize the local culture of Towale Village. This study aims to analyze the impact of the festival on increasing young people's awareness of the importance of cultural preservation and the festival's contribution to strengthening the cultural identity of Towale Village. Through a qualitative method involving participatory observation and in-depth interviews, this study found that the Towale Festival has successfully created a space for young people to interact with their cultural heritage. In addition, the festival has also encouraged the emergence of new initiatives in cultural preservation at the community level. The results of this study indicate that activities such as the Towale Festival have great potential to strengthen local cultural values and involve young people in the preservation process.
