Abstract

Moral and religious (aqidah) education plays a significant role in shaping children's behavior. Morality, as reflected in ethical conduct, and aqidah, as a belief system, are interconnected elements that influence personal development. This study aims to examine the impact of moral education and the application of aqidah on fostering positive behavior in children. Children who receive moral and religious instruction tend to develop a more positive worldview, form healthy relationships with others, and grow into individuals who are kind, patient, and tolerant. This education provides them with a solid moral foundation, equipping them to face challenges and resist negative influences in their environment. The integration of moral and aqidah education into religious or character education curricula within formal educational settings is essential. Furthermore, a comprehensive approach involving families, communities, and educational institutions can effectively reinforce these teachings and shape children’s behavior. In conclusion, moral and aqidah education significantly influences children’s behavior, helping them grow into morally upright individuals who can contribute positively to society.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas tentang bagaimana peran pendidikan Islam dalam membentuk moral siswa di dalam kelas. Tujuannya adalah agar pengembangan karakter siswa dapat berkontribusi pada penurunan moral yang terjadi di masyarakat kita saat ini. Menemukan cara untuk menggunakan ide-ide pendidikan Islam untuk mengembangkan karakter siswa di dalam kelas sehingga mereka dapat menggunakannya dalam kehidupan sehari-hari adalah tujuan utama dari penelitian ini. Data dikumpulkan dan dianalisis dari berbagai sumber teks dalam studi ini menggunakan proses tinjauan pustaka sistematis. Buku referensi pendidikan karakter dan publikasi lain yang membahas pendidikan karakter adalah sumber dokumentasi yang digunakan. Sumber-sumber materi ini termasuk buku, jurnal, makalah, dan karya ilmiah lainnya yang berkaitan dengan pengajaran agama dan pengembangan karakter siswa. Masalah yang muncul saat mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai pendidikan Islam juga diungkapkan oleh studi ini. Namun, nilai-nilai Islam dalam pendidikan memiliki kekuatan untuk membentuk dan memperkuat karakter siswa serta mempersiapkan mereka menghadapi dilema moral di dunia modern jika diterapkan dengan benar. Dengan menyajikan saran untuk guru dan pejabat pendidikan serta wawasan tentang bagaimana prinsip-prinsip Islam dapat diintegrasikan ke dalam pengembangan karakter siswa, penelitian ini memajukan bidang pendidikan agama Islam.

Such education also provides a strong moral foundation that prepares them to face challenges and resist negative influences in their environment. The integration of aqidah and moral values into formal religious or character education curricula can enhance their effectiveness. Moreover, a comprehensive approach that involves families, educational institutions, and the wider community is essential in cultivating children's behavior. In conclusion, moral and theological education has a profound influence on children's development, enabling them to become ethically grounded individuals capable of contributing positively to society. Abstract

The cultivation of good character, or Akhlāqul Karīmah, needs to begin at an early age since childhood is crucial for character development. However, in Purwosari Village, Lampung, Indonesia, many children still show a lack of respect for their parents, teachers, and peers. This study aims to assess the role of TPA Al-Ikhlas in promoting moral values among early childhood learners. The research employs a qualitative approach, gathering data through observations, interviews, and document analysis. The data were analyzed in three stages: data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. To ensure validity, triangulation techniques were used. The results indicate that TPA Al-Ikhlas plays a positive role in shaping children's morals through the teaching of the Qur'an, prayer procedures, and moral lessons. Methods of instruction include lectures, habituation, modeling behavior, and supervision. Factors supporting this effort include parental and community support, while challenges arise from the unrestricted use of electronic media and negative social influences.
