<![CDATA[Fenomena keterlibatan anak dalam tindakan kejahatan membuat mereka berkonflik dengan hukum semakin banyak dijumpai. Anak yang terbukti melakukan tindakan kejahatan dapat dijatuhi hukuman pidana sehingga akan ditempatkan di Lembaga Pembinaan Khusus Anak (LPKA). Kehidupan di Lembaga Pembinaan ternyata berpengaruh terhadap kondisi psikologis anak binaan. Terpisahnya anak binaan dengan keluarga dan lingkungan asalnya, terbatasnya interaksi anak dengan dunia dan masyarakat luar, adanya keterbatasan ruang dan waktu untuk melakukan berbagai aktivitas dapat menimbulkan stres bagi anak yang sedang menjalani masa pembinaannya. Untuk itu, diperlukan kemampuan strategi emotion focused coping yang baik untuk dapat mengatasi stresor bagi anak yang berkonflik dengan hukum. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Subjek dalam penelitian berjumlah 3 orang dan merupakan anak yang berkonflik dengan hukum berumur 16-20 tahun di LPKA Kelas II Bandung. Kondisi stres yang dialami oleh subjek dalam gejala fisik yaitu sulit tidur, gelisah, gugup, sulit untuk berkonsentrasi, merasa takut gagal, mudah lupa, sedih, mudah marah, kecewa, jenuh, menyesal, menarik diri dan tidak bisa rileks. Kemudian dari penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa ketiga subjek menggunakan kelima dimensi emotion focused coping yaitu distancing, escape avoidance, accepting responsibility, self control, dan positive reapraisal. The phenomenon of involvement of children in criminal acts making them conflict with the law is increasingly found. A child who is found to have committed a criminal offence can be sentenced to criminal punishment, so that he will be placed in a special child-building institution. (LPKA). Life at the Construction Institute turns out to have an influence on the psychological condition of the child. The separation of children from their families and their surroundings, the limited interaction of children with the outside world and society, the limitation of space and time for various activities can be stressful for children undergoing their construction. For that, a good emotion focused coping strategy is required to be able to cope with the stressor for children in conflict with the law. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. Subjects in the study consisted of 3 people and were children in conflict with the law aged 16-20 years in LPKA Class II Bandung. Stressful conditions experienced by the subject in physical symptoms are difficulty sleeping, restlessness, nervousness, difficulty concentrating, fear of failure, forgetfulness, sadness, anger, frustration, saturation, regret, withdrawal and unable to relax. Later from this study it can be concluded that the three subjects use the five dimensions of emotion focused coping: distancing, escape avoidance, accepting responsibility, self control, and positive reapraisal.]]>
