Abstract

This research examines the influence of financial literacy, risk tolerance, and investment planning on capital accumulation in middle-class households in Indonesia. Using a quantitative research design, data from 130 respondents were collected through a structured questionnaire and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS 3). The results show that financial literacy, risk tolerance, and investment planning significantly contribute to wealth accumulation. Besides, risk tolerance partially mediates the effects of financial literacy, wealth accumulation, investment planning, and wealth accumulation. These findings underlined the importance of financial knowledge, strategic planning, and balanced risk-taking in the formation of financial well-being. The findings carry an important message for policymakers, financial institutions, and households in the design of relevant financial education programs and specific investment strategies.

Abstract

The bakery industry in Indonesia shows increasing development. One of the activities carried out by this industry is processing customer orders. Currently, there are still bakery industries where customers order products manually, either by coming directly or by using a telephone or WhatsApp. Manual product ordering causes several problems that can hinder business activities and will have an impact on customer service. This study aims to design an Android-based product ordering application in the bakery industry. The application design uses the Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC) method. The application design stage consists of six stages, namely concept, design, material collecting, manufacturing, testing, and distribution. The results of this study are in the form of an Android-based product ordering application that uses multimedia to provide detailed information related to products and has interactive features to respond to customers quickly. In addition, this application can also generate a summary report of customer orders via the Dashboard. The application that has been designed is expected to support bakery industry players to manage and monitor product ordering performance and improve customer service.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze and improve the quality process of the MSME catering business "Nyeblak Spot," which faces two main issues: delivery delays and product defects. To address these problems, the Six Sigma approach using the DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control) methodology was applied. The measurement results show a DPMO of 33,997 for product defects with a sigma level of 2.31, and a DPMO of 208,791 for delivery delays with a sigma level of 4.84. The fishbone analysis reveals that the primary causes of product defects include the lack of SOPs and inconsistencies in packaging, while delays are due to a lack of delivery fleet and absence of a structured schedule. By implementing improvements focused on SOP development, staff training, and organized delivery scheduling, the business is expected to enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction. Keywords: Six Sigma, DMAIC, delivery delays, product defects, catering MSMEs.
