Abstract

Introduction: The high prevalence of maternal and infant mortality is still a problem that cannot be overcome. One effort to reduce maternal mortality and infant mortality is to carry out regular antenatal checks. Objective: This study aims to determine what perception factors influence compliance with Antenatal Care. Method: This type of research is quantitative correlative with a cross-sectional approach. Results and Discussion: The results of this study were that most respondents were in the non-compliant category in antenatal check-ups, 52.7%. The results of the correlation test show the P Value of perceived benefits with 0.001, perceived barriers 0.022, perceived susceptibility 0.016 and Cues to Action action cues 0.007. results of logistic regression analysis, the most dominant variable is perceived benefits with an odds ratio of 8.272. This non-compliance is caused by several factors that cause pregnant women not to receive antenatal care. Conclusion: In this study, the obstacles experienced by pregnant women include lack of knowledge about complications, access to transportation and economics as the main factors causing noncompliance with antenatal care. There is a significant relationship between the variables of perceived benefits, perceived barriers, perceived vulnerabilities, and action cues

Abstract

Nursing assessment in critical patients in the ICU is a complex process that is essential for supporting standard interventions to improve the safety and quality of nursing care. This study aims to identify and analyze various literature related to nursing assessments and nursing care based on ICU service standards. A total of 293 articles were initially identified from various databases: 52 from PubMed, 145 from ScienceDirect, 83 from Google Scholar, 10 from Scopus, and 3 from ProQuest. After removing 85 duplicate articles, 208 articles remained. The screening process based on title identification, further reduced 55 articles. Subsequent abstract screening yielded 31 articles. Finally, a full text review of these articles resulted in 10 articles selected for inclusion. The literature review found that pre-arrival assessments help prepare for patient care needs before ICU arrival. Quick checklist based assessments can quickly and systematically identify early critical conditions in patients. Comprehensive assessments, using an integrated and ongoing patient assessment format, combined with progress notes and sophisticated monitoring tools, can enhance the efficiency of patient care. The conclusion is that implementing Nursing Assessment through a systematic approach to ICU services significantly contributes to optimizing the quality and safety of critical patient care.

Abstract

Background: The speed and accuracy of a nurse's initial assessment can determine the success of care in emergency patients. Patient emergencies can occur not only outside the Hospital, but also during the patient's hospitalization Objective: The purpose of this study is to determine the relationship between policy and supervision with nurses' compliance with the implementation of the Early Warning Score (EWS) in inpatient patients Method: The design of this study  uses a colleration analytical design with a crossecsional approach, the population in this study is all nurses in the room  The inpatient rawap at RSUD Tgk Abdullah Syafi'I totaled 254 nurses. The sampling technique in this study used a simple technique Random Side of 110 nurses. Result and Discussion: the results of this study show that there is a significant relationship between policy and nurses' compliance with the application of early warning score (EWS) with a p-value of 0.020<0.05. There is a significant relationship between supervision and nurse compliance with the application of the Early Warning Score (EWS) with a p-value of 0.013<0.05. Conclusions: There is a significant relationship between policy and supervision and nurses' adherence to the application of early warning score (EWS) in inpatients

Abstract

Background: Patient safety standards are a global issue and a top priority for hospital health services. Every health service needs to strive for patient safety Various previous studies on the application of patient safety standards have been carried out only explaining external factors such as education, training, infrastructure and leadership with apassion for compliance behavior in the application of patient safety standards, while internal factor sare still very few, in this study what will be studied is internal factors in nurses, one of the internal factors that cannot be explained is the perception factor. Objective: The purpose of this study is to Analysis of Nurse Perception Factors on Compliance Implementing Patient Safety Standards in Emergency Installations and Intensive Care Units Tgk Abdullah Syafi' Hospital. Method: The type of research used is quantitative correlative with a cross sectional design. This research was conducted at Tgk Abdullah Syafi'i Hospital. The subjects in this study were all nurses working in the emergency room (ER) and the intensive care unit (ICU) as many as 63 people. The instrument used in this study was a questionnaire consisting of independent variables and a dependent variable questionnaire. Result and Discussion: The most dominant factor influencing the application of patient application standards is the action cue with an OR value of 4,702. this means that the higher the actioncue, the better the implementation of patient safety standards by 4,702 times compared to the action cues that low. Value B = natural logarithm of 4.702 = 1.584 because the value of B is positive, the action cue has a positive relationship with the application of patient safety standards. Conclusions: There is an influence between perceptions of benefits, perceptions of obstacles and cues for action on the application of patient safety standards
